Meet Rachel Smith, PA-C 🩺✨

Rachel has been a valued part of Wallis Dermatology Associates since 2011, serving patients across East Texas with experience, compassion, and a well-rounded background in medicine.

A graduate of UT Pan American, Rachel has been a Physician Assistant since 2003 and has practiced in several areas of medicine, including general medicine, rheumatology, and dermatology. Her broad experience helps her provide thoughtful, personalized care to the patients she serves.

Outside of the clinic, Rachel enjoys taking long walks with her dogs, Charlie, Ollie, and Bella, going to the gym, running, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Chad, and their children.

We are so thankful to have Rachel on the Wallis Dermatology team!

Kandiss Hearn, APRN, FNP-C is now seeing patients at our Tyler location!

An East Texas native and proud graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, Kandiss has built a dedicated career in dermatology — growing from LVN to RN assisting with Mohs surgery, and now serving patients as a Family Nurse
Practitioner. Her well-rounded experience gives her a strong foundation in caring for patients through every step of their skin health journey.

Outside of the clinic, Kandiss enjoys life on the ranch raising cattle with her husband and two daughters. She loves family game nights, spending time with her dogs and soaking up the outdoors.

We’re proud to have Kandiss caring for patients in Tyler and grateful for the heart she brings to Wallis Dermatology Associates.
