Little Light Pediatric Therapy

Little Light Pediatric Therapy A guiding light for families and kids with speech, feeding, behavior and sensory challenges.

There is no cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all approach at Little Light. Instead, treatment plans reflect our foundational belief: that each child was created by God, uniquely and perfectly, with individual strengths and sensory challenges and therefore, that each person deserves an approach to intervention tailored to their needs. Here, families find the support and treatment they have been searchi

ng for. No one knows better than you that every child has unique needs, and that the entire family is impacted. We provide a customized approach for your child’s specific sensory challenges. As your child improves his or her functioning, you will be by their side during sessions, every step of the way.

Meet Georgia!

We are so excited to have her joining us as our new clinic assistant in the afternoons!

Georgia is finishing up her senior year, taking dual credit Biblical Literature and Speech at LeTourneau University while also tackling Chemistry and Home Ec at home. Clearly, she’s keeping busy!

She is kind, sweet, eager to learn, and has a heart for kids. And maybe the best part? She wants to be an OT when she grows up!

She’ll be pitching in around the clinic, helping our therapists and families, and learning a little more about what it looks like to be an OT along the way.

We’re so glad you’re here, Georgia! We can’t wait to see all that God has in store for you. 💛

Happy birthday, Walker. 💛

We hope heaven is celebrating you big today.

We miss that laugh of yours more than we could ever put into words. We miss your joy, your personality, and all the little things that made you so wonderfully YOU.

And, of course, we miss having someone who loved Chris Stapleton as much as Jenny does. 🫶 (There were some pretty great Jenny, Walker, Momma, and Chris jam sessions)

You brought so much joy into our lives, Walker. So much laughter, so much love, and so many memories that we will carry with us forever.

We miss you more than words can say, but today we mostly just want to celebrate you and remember how amazing you are.

Happy birthday, sweet boy. We love you so much.

To the momma, burning the midnight oil, trying to figure out what your baby is going to eat at school...

HEAR THIS: it's okay to send them 'junk food'. It's okay that your lunch box is a leftover tupperware that is stained instead of a bento box with perfectly cut out veggies placed in colorful silicone cupcake liners. It's okay that there isn't a single vegetable in your child's lunchbox. It's okay if they might only take a few bites. New routines and change is HARD. Starting up school is going to be exciting and also overwhelming. On a day filled with new rules, new faces, and nothing normal...give them a little bit of normal in their lunch box. Feed them what brings comfort and what you know they will eat. Broccoli can wait for another day. You can make up calories at dinner. It's just for a little while. Nobody is Pinterest perfect, I promise.

Last week was such a special one.

Courtney from NOSH Pediatric Feeding Therapy came all the way from Houston to Longview to spend the week with us, see a current client, and spend time learning and working alongside our team.

And honestly? We loved every minute of having her here.

There is something really special about getting good clinicians in a room together. We get to share experiences, ask questions, challenge our thinking, learn from one another, and walk away better than we came.

Courtney is an incredible clinician and an even sweeter human, and we were so grateful to have her here.

This is one of my favorite parts of this work. We don't have to do it alone. We can keep learning, keep growing, and keep becoming better therapists for the families who trust us with their kids.

Come back soon, Courtney. We miss you already. 💛

Today we said "see you later" to Kenzie as she heads back to Stephenville to finish college and make her way on to OT school!

This summer, she brought so much joy, warmth, and fun to our clinic, and our families have loved getting to know her. We couldn't be more excited to see where this journey takes her.

We'll miss you around here, Kenzie!! Thank you for pouring your heart into Little Light this summer. We can't wait to see the incredible occupational therapist you're becoming. 💛

🫧 Last-minute opening for tomorrow! 🫧

We had one child get sick, so Hannah has a 10:00 AM opening tomorrow for one of our favorite sensory days... Shaving Cream Day!

If your child has been seen at Little Light Pediatric Therapy previously, they're welcome to grab this spot. It's a fun morning filled with movement, sensory play, creativity, and plenty of opportunities to build regulation, motor skills, and confidence through play.

First come, first served!

📱 Just send us a text if you'd like to claim the appointment.

Food doesn't start at the table... so neither does feeding therapy.

Before many children can comfortably explore new foods, they need a nervous system that feels safe, regulated, and ready to learn.

That's why you might find us:
- "Cooking" over a campfire
- Building forts
- Swinging
- Climbing
- Playing

It might look like play, but every activity has a purpose. We're building the sensory, motor, and emotional foundations that make eating easier.

If mealtimes have become stressful, frustrating, or feel like you're walking on eggshells, know that change is possible.

We currently have 3 feeding therapy openings for families who are ready to make progress before the holiday season arrives.

Starting now gives your child time to build skills, confidence, and positive experiences around food, so holiday meals can feel a little more peaceful this year.
