This week our team was out in the community continuing the mission of breaking down stigma, connecting people to resources, and reminding others that help is available right here in East Texas.

We were honored to participate in the 2026 4th Annual Senior Symposium as well as the Panola County Mental Health Resource Fair. Events like these are so important because they bring education, support, and hope directly to the people who need it most.

Building strong partnerships within our community is so important in helping individuals gain access to the care and support they need. Vern Rennier, CEO of Oceans Behavioral Hospital Longview, will join fellow health care leaders for the ACHE of North Texas Multi-Chapter Symposium’s executive track panel, “Leading People Who are More Experienced Than You.”

The discussion will explore how effective leadership is shaped not by tenure alone, but by impact, adaptability and vision. We are proud to see Vern represent Oceans Longview in this important conversation alongside leaders from across the Texas health care community.
