Today, Oceans Behavioral Hospital Longview was proud to be represented by our Business Development Director, Sharron, at the “Too Close to Home” event hosted by the Women's Center of East Texas.
It was a packed house for an incredibly meaningful event featuring keynote speaker Denise Brown, sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, who continues to advocate for domestic violence awareness and prevention.
At Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Longview, we understand the lasting impact that domestic violence and trauma can have on individuals, children and families. Events like this remind us just how important it is to come together as a community, raise awareness and ensure those who are struggling know that help and support are available.
Sharron also had the opportunity to connect with numerous school counselors and community partners throughout East Texas, strengthening relationships that help us better serve our children, adolescents and families.
We are grateful to have been part of such an important event and proud of Sharron for representing Oceans Longview and our commitment to mental health in East Texas.
