Did you know your gut actually produces a special type of lymph fluid called chyle?

Notice how your stomach gently rises as you inhale and falls as you exhale.

Notice the air moving through your lungs… through your body.

Notice how your mind begins to reconnect with your body as you breathe.

Notice how your muscles soften. Your thoughts slow. Your body begins to relax.

Stay present here for a moment.

Just notice.

As we’ve been discussing, one of the most powerful ways to begin reclaiming your health is by supporting good quality sleep and restoring healthy circadian rhythm. Here’s your next SLEEP KEY🔑…

☀️ SEROTONIN

Serotonin is often called one of our “happy camper chemicals” because it supports a positive mood and emotional well-being. But did you know it’s also a key precursor to melatonin—the hormone your body naturally releases in darkness to support restful sleep?

🧐 So why not just take melatonin?

While there are times I recommend melatonin, I don’t do so flippantly—and for most people, not as a long-term solution. The goal is to support your body’s God-given ability to produce AND release what it needs, when it needs it.

So how do we support healthy serotonin levels?

🌿 Gut Health Matters
The majority of serotonin receptors are found in the gut, making digestive health a foundational piece of the puzzle. If you’re struggling with sleep, mood, stress, or energy, your gut may be asking for attention.

☀️ Get Some Sunshine
Natural sunlight is one of the simplest and most effective ways to support serotonin production. Expose your bare face and neck to morning or afternoon sunlight—generally 15–45 minutes before 10 AM or after 2 PM, depending on your skin type and tolerance.

👣 Don’t Forget Grounding
The grounding practice we talked about yesterday can also support serotonin production while helping calm the nervous system and prepare the body for restorative sleep.

Small, consistent habits often create the biggest shifts.

😖 Is STRESS micromanaging you and your life?

On a scale of 0–100, how much would you say anxiety, overwhelm, or constant “go-go-go” thinking shows up throughout your day? If you’re honest, the answer might surprise you.

If stress has been calling the shots, it’s time to take your position back. 💪

The first place I often start with clients? Sleep. 😴

When we support the body’s God-given rhythms, everything begins to work better—from energy and mood to metabolism, hormones, and resilience.

Over the next few posts, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite SLEEP KEYS 🔑 that are helping clients reset their rhythm and reclaim restorative rest.

👣 GROUNDING AT DUSK

One simple yet powerful practice is spending a few minutes barefoot on the earth while watching the sun set.

🌅 This helps signal to your brain that the day is winding down and supports healthy circadian rhythm function.

After sunset, continue with your evening as normal. Then, at the very first sign of drowsiness… 🥱

➡️ Go to bed.

Don’t worry about what time it is.
Don’t worry about waking up too early.

For now, the goal is quality sleep, not perfection.

Try this for 5–7 consecutive evenings and notice what begins to shift.

😴 Supporting your body’s natural sleep-wake cycle can help rebalance the cortisol curve, calm the nervous system, and create the conditions needed for deeper, more restorative sleep.

Because stepping into the unknown reveals something deeper in us… our true level of faith over fear and courage over comfort.

🌱 But here’s the beautiful thing — change is also the very thing that GROWS our faith and courage.

😉 CHANGE…
✨ moves & molds us
✨ refines & renovates us
✨ stretches us in ways we didn’t know we needed

And while change isn’t always easy… it isn’t always bad either.

It comes right after a deep, steady Peace — the kind that settles within and remains, no matter what life throws your way.

Because yes… life can be hard. Unexpected. Heavy. Unpredictable.

But the thread of joy woven through true inner Peace is stronger than the storms trying to unravel it. It may bend, stretch, or feel buried at times… but it doesn’t have to break. 🕊️🌻

Every day, we have opportunities to support our 𝗧𝗛𝗬𝗥𝗢𝗜𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛. 🦋

There are many factors involved, but here are a few worth paying attention to:

🦋 Sleep rhythm matters.
Getting to bed earlier and allowing your body to rest deeply can support restoration, hormone balance, and overall regulation. Need help falling asleep or staying asleep? Ask me.

🦋 Stress impacts everything.
When stress is constant, your adrenals can become overworked — and that can influence thyroid function too. This is my wheelhouse: helping you take authority over your mind, thoughts, emotions, and nervous system.

🦋 Love your liver.
Your liver plays a major role in converting inactive thyroid hormone, T4, into active T3. Supporting liver function can also support blood sugar & hormone balance, digestion, and metabolism.

🦋 Finding your voice matters.
When women feel unheard, unseen, silenced, or unable to stand up for themselves, the body often holds that stress. Emotional health is deeply connected to physical health — and yes, this is part of the work too.

🦋 Nutrients matter.
Iodine, selenium, zinc, iron, minerals, protein, pep🌊tides, and organ communication all play important roles in thyroid function. This is where a targeted approach can make such a difference.
