This last weekend I quietly celebrated as I do each year what happened on 8-8-2014

I took one of the biggest leaps of faith of my life.

I resigned from my full-time job and stepped out to begin Awaken Life Coaching and Supports LLC.

I didn't have all the answers.
I didn't know exactly how everything would unfold.
And honestly… I was afraid.
But I knew I couldn't stay where I was simply because it felt safe.
I had to trust God and take the step.
And there's something extra special about the date I chose—8-8-2014.
The number 8 is often associated with new beginnings, renewal, and a new chapter.

When I look back now, I can see how fitting that date was for the beginning of something God had placed on my heart.

That doesn't mean the journey has always been easy. There have been many challenges, uncertainty, lessons, disappointments, growth, and plenty of moments when I've had to remind myself to keep trusting God. There have also been many victories along the way🎉🎉

And twelve years later, I am grateful that I said YES‼️

I've learned that sometimes doing God's will requires us to risk what is comfortable for what is calling us forward.

Sometimes we want God to show us the entire path before we'll take the first step.

But faith doesn't always work that way.
Sometimes God simply says:
“Take the step. Trust Me with the rest.”

If there is something God has been placing on your heart, don't let fear or uncertainty convince you that you have to have everything figured out before you begin.
You may not know where the road will lead.
You may not feel ready.
You may be afraid.
Take the step anyway.
Your obedience today could be the beginning of something you can't even imagine yet.

August 8, 2014 was the beginning of a new chapter for me.
And twelve years later, I can say:
I'm so thankful I took the leap.
Here's to new beginnings, courageous faith, and trusting God with whatever comes next. ❤️

I am super excited to see what the Lord wants to do through Awaken The Warrior Within … God’s Way Day Retreat.

For lack of words ( I know I’m a woman with lots of words shocking Lol)
There are few words that could describe all the feelers/emotions that have been swirling these past few weeks.

I can say I continue to be in awe of the faithfulness of the Lord and all that I learned and grew through the journey of God’s Way…

In my introduction of God‘s way, I remind my readers….
“ If our relationship with the Lord is strong, intimate, and growing, and our identity is in Him alone, we will allow Holy Spirit to be a part of every area of our lives. We will also walk out our lives in a whole new way, and will begin to feel a freedom that can only come from this new way of thinking and living.”

I believe this with my whole heart and I’m walking it out one day at a time.
Remember, Transformation Happens One Step At A Time.

Have you ever felt like it’s almost impossible to change a habit or a pattern in your life? Or how about changing a career or moving to a new home?

When we talk about change people cringe because it isn’t always easy and actually most of the time it’s hard. But it is so worth it.

But this is what I know ….
Change is not optional. It is actually essential if we want to continue to grow, learn and be the best version of ourselves and who we were created to be.
