I love getting to support amazing women in our community who are doing really cool things—and Dr. Leah Dash is definitely one of them! 🤍

She’s a chiropractor, lactation specialist, and pelvic floor therapist, AND she is an anatomy professor. Basically, she knows the human body inside and out! 😂

She recently opened her new SUPER CUTE space, and I wanted to give her a little shoutout and help spread the word. If you’re looking for support with lactation, pelvic floor health, or chiropractic care, she is such a wonderful person to have in your corner.

Go check out her new space and give her business a follow! ✨ Supporting others who are out there pursuing their dreams is one of my favorite things!

✨ Before ➡️ After ✨

A tongue-tie release can create the potential for better tongue mobility—but the procedure itself doesn’t automatically teach the tongue how to move.

That’s where pre- and post-release therapy makes all the difference. 👅

✔️ Preparing the muscles before the release
✔️ Supporting healing afterward
✔️ Building new movement patterns
✔️ Carrying over improved range of motion into everyday functions like feeding, swallowing, speech, and nasal breathing

Think of it like removing the parking brake. The car can finally move freely… but it still has to learn where to go.

Every child’s journey is unique, and a release is just one piece of the puzzle. Functional therapy before and after is what helps turn new mobility into lasting function. 💙

When my son was 4 years old, I learned that my palate was the same width as his 🤯

That’s when I discovered my palate was extremely narrow. A typical adult palate is often around 45–55 mm wide, and mine measured only 31 mm 😳

As a teenager, I had upper premolars extracted, and my orthodontic treatment narrowed my upper jaw even more. At the time, I had no idea how much this could impact things like airway function, sleep quality, energy levels, attention, and overall health.

Because those symptoms were my “normal,” I didn’t realize how much I was struggling until later.

As an adult, I underwent expansion treatment, and it helped me not only aesthetically, but functionally too. I still have more work to do and am now on my MARPE journey.

Airway health matters SO much, and we’re grateful to help families support jaw growth and function while children are still developing — instead of needing more complex treatment as adults.

Thanks so much to the amazing Dr. Arias and her team
