From 3 Words to Big Conversations! 💙🗣️

When Baylor first came to Harvest Health & Rehab, communicating was a challenge. He consistently used just three words, "ball," "mama," and "dada."

Through hard work, encouragement, and Speech Therapy, Baylor has made incredible progress!

Today, he's:
💙 Putting two words together
💙 Communicating his wants and needs much more clearly
💙 Building the language skills that will help him continue to grow and thrive

Every new word is a big milestone, and we're so proud of everything Baylor has accomplished!

After suffering a fractured elbow, everyday activities became a challenge for Donna. Simple tasks that most of us take for granted were difficult, and spending time with her grandchildren wasn't quite the same.

Donna came to Harvest Health & Rehab ready to put in the work, and our Occupational Therapy team helped her every step of the way.

Her treatment included:
💪 Stretching to improve flexibility

🌟 Patient Spotlight 🌟

When Estella came to Harvest Health & Rehab, something as simple as opening her mouth to eat or smile was painful. She was also dealing with frequent headaches, making it difficult to enjoy the activities she loves most.

As an active gymnast and dancer, Estella needed to be able to move comfortably and confidently.

Our Physical Therapy team created a treatment plan to help reduce her pain, improve jaw movement, and restore strength and stability. Her therapy included:
✨ Gentle hands-on treatment
✨ Jaw stabilization exercises
✨ Neck and upper back strengthening
✨ Exercises to improve jaw movement and flexibility

Today, Estella is opening her mouth comfortably, eating without pain, and has found relief from the daily headaches that were affecting her everyday life. Best of all, she's back to focusing on gymnastics, dance, and being a kid!

Meet Cavon!

When Cavon came to Harvest Health & Rehab, our Occupational Therapy team focused on helping him develop the skills he needed to feel more confident navigating everyday situations. Together, they worked on:
💙 Managing big emotions with regulation strategies
💙 Making transitions between activities easier
💙 Building confidence in his own unique strengths

Cavon worked hard every step of the way, and it has been such a joy watching him grow!

One thing we all learned about Cav? He's a true farm kid at heart! 🚜❤️ Whether he was talking about tractors, monster trucks, or his cows, his enthusiasm always brightened our day and put smiles on our faces.

When you're a business owner, slowing down isn't always an option and for Ed, back pain and frequent falls were making it harder to keep up with the work he loves.

As the owner of Interior by Ed, specializing in automotive upholstery and trim work, Ed depends on his strength, mobility, and balance every day.

When Ed came to Harvest Health & Rehab, he was experiencing low back pain, difficulty walking, and frequent falls. Our physical therapy team developed a treatment plan focused on relieving his pain and restoring his confidence.

His therapy included:
✅ Manual therapy
✅ Core strengthening
✅ Therapeutic exercise

As Ed progressed, his treatment advanced to:
⭐ Strength training
⭐ Balance training
⭐ Gait (walking) training to reduce his fall risk and improve his stability

Portlen is ready for 2nd grade and big milestones deserve to be celebrated! 🎉

When Portlen first came to Harvest Health & Rehab, he needed extra support with attention, focus, and speech development to help prepare him for success in school.

Through Occupational Therapy, Portlen worked on:
✨ Improving attention and focus through play
✨ Building executive functioning skills
✨ Primitive reflex integration
✨ Core strengthening for better posture and endurance

At the same time, Speech Therapy helped him master his speech sounds, giving him the confidence to communicate more clearly.

🎉 Today, Portlen has met his speech goals, strengthened the foundational skills needed for learning, and is ready for school! We couldn't be prouder of all the hard work he and his family put into reaching this milestone.
