Dr. Field’s dental education and experience are both vast and specialized, spanning two dedicated decades. in Physiology from Brigham Young University. His first exposure to dentistry came while on a service mission to Columbia where he observed the work of Operation Smile dentists. There he saw lives changed for the better and he came home intent on helping to do the same. Dr. Field continued his studies at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. In sunny southern California, Dr. Field acquired a love of USC Football, a hatred for L.A. traffic, and most importantly, trained at a perennially top ranked U.S. dental school known for pioneering new techniques and conducting groundbreaking research. Dr. Field distinguished himself during his studies, winning awards and scholarships, and being elected president of the highest national leadership position in dental education. Upon graduation from USC, Dr. Field was thrilled to return home to Los Altos and partner at the Peninsula Center of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Field’s education, experience, and focus on patient care ensure client comfort and optimal clinical outcomes with a wide range of cosmetic dental services and procedures, including smile makeover, implant reconstruction, full mouth reconstruction, Invisalign, and Zoom! whitening treatment. Patients agree that Dr. Field’s advanced dental care has transcended beyond services and procedures to an artform where anxieties are eased, and stellar dental outcomes are expected in a caring, professional, and spa-like setting. Dr. Field’s education formed a foundation of knowledge and skill that he continues to build on. Today, Dr. Field is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and holds the highest level of competence in implant dentistry as a DABOI/ID Diplomate. His expertise has been featured in dental journals, seminars and speaking engagements, and as a guest faculty member at USC where he now teaches new dentists about full mouth rehabilitation and IV sedation courses. Dr. Field is also passionate about giving back to those who deserve it most. Each Veterans Day, the Peninsula Center of Cosmetic Dentistry opens its doors to Bay Area veterans to provide them with more than $20,000 worth of dental care. Dr. Field counts himself lucky to call Los Altos home, and even luckier to care for people in a community he loves. Outside his work hours, Dr. Field spends time with his beautiful wife, Meg, and their four busy kids. He enjoys playing basketball, attending sporting events, and breathing the pure mountain air on the slopes, water, and golf courses of Lake Tahoe.
