New Office Operation starting May 4, 2020

​Dear Patients,
I hope that you and your family are well. The new guidelines from the Santa Clara County Health Department dated 4/29/2020 has allowed optometry offices to be open for non-urgent, routine, and preventative eye care services starting May 4th, 2020. I want to assure you that we value the safety of our patients and staff and have taken several steps to provide your eye care in a safe manner. Here are some of those steps that we are taking:

(1) Office is open by appointment only with limited walk-in services in order to control social distancing protocol.
(2) Our staff will be screened daily and proper protective equipment will be utilized while helping patients.
(3) All patients will be screened and body temperatures checked before entry into the office.
(4) Proper disinfection steps will be taken before and after patients.
(5) Exam flow will be modified to minimize face to face interaction and to increase safety.
(a) Appointment times are spaced and staggered.
(b) Optos retinal imaging utilized instead of dilation where
appropriate.

OUR OFFICE OPERATION DURING SHELTER-IN-PLACE EXTENDED TO 5/3/2020

I know that this is a time of great uncertainty and we take the recommendation by the CDC seriously. Our staff and I are here to alleviate your concerns and to help you as best as possible.
If you are concerned about any issues with your contact lenses or eyewear, you can email us [email protected] or call us during 10am to 2pm at (650)948-6910. We will try our best to assist you during this time. If needed, your contact lenses orders or any pre-ordered eyeglasses can be shipped directly to you. If you are running low in your contact lenses, check out our online contact lens store in our website( www.eyeliteoptometry.net)
For any urgent eye matters (i.e. eye infection, vision loss, flashes or floater), please call Dr. Jabina Ramde O.D. at (408)318-0950. Our doctors are available to do telephone triage or schedule in-office visit if needed. Routine eye care appointments have been postponed until shelter-in-place is lifted.
