Yes. This is the thing. I’ve been devouring books lately and it is a great privilege. One I prize.

Celebrating Dolly has me thinking about the joy of reading books and how often I squander that pleasure by putting myself under pressure to consume pages.

We are all craving deep reading, deep thinking, and deep connection — and these all require deep time.

I went back this morning and re-read the interview we did with Maya Smart - Parent Educator and Literacy Advocate and was drawn to her phrase the “privilege of focus.”

Let’s start a spiritual book club where we read what we want, when we want, no meetings or deadlines - just a shared reframe of deep time as subversive in a world of shallow distraction, addictive scrolling, and unrelenting attention grabbing. ❤️📖❤️

⭐ Don’t sleep on that gut feeling friends…

We all know intuition whispers first.
It gives us quiet signals, subtle nudges, and that small-but-clear feeling inside that says “this way, not that way.”�But when we override it — with logic, with fear, with “being reasonable” — intuition doesn’t disappear.

It escalates.

And if you ignore it long enough?�It eventually lets out a dramatic sigh — the exact sort of sigh perfected by Midwestern aunties everywhere.�Not angry.�Not confrontational.�Just deeply, eloquently disappointed in a way that communicates everything without a single word.

That’s when you know you missed the whisper.
Most people don’t struggle with intuition because they lack it.�They struggle because they learned to trust fear over inner knowing, planning over perceiving, control over clarity.�But intuition is the oldest survival tool we have.�It always speaks — and it always tells the truth.

The key is learning to hear it before it resorts to the sigh.

FYI, if you’re seeing people post about Uranus in Gemini being the start to a new war because it was the same when WWII started is silly. The rest of the planetary alignments don’t match.

The logic that because World War II was raging away when Uranus was last in Gemini, there will now be another world war doesn’t stack up. Uranus is not the only planet in play and we’re not in an auto-loop where everything repeats every 84 years because Uranus is at a certain point.

The coming Astro is actually supportive of great change and good things happening.

**Hello, love. I’m Crisann.**
Mother, mystic, survivor, and card-slinger with a soft spot for Ted Lasso and ancient runes. I read the signs, the symbols, and sometimes the room (especially when the vibe is weird). I’ve been practicing intuitive healing and divination for over a decade, but the truth is—I’ve been tuned in since childhood.

I grew up outside Chicago in the golden haze of the John Hughes era, where my mom’s metaphysical leanings meant astrology and the unseen were as common in our home as meatloaf and MTV. At seventeen, I picked up my first tarot deck. It was a full-body yes, and I’ve been reading ever since.

I’ve spent the years since weaving together a life that’s part mystic, part mother, part miracle. I’m a Stage IV cancer survivor with titanium in my spine and a heart cracked open wide. My body has been through war. My spirit, however, remains undefeated—and wildly intuitive.

My path has taken me from Mumbai to the mat (I’m a certified yoga teacher and breathwork facilitator), and from luxury property management to creating oracle decks inspired by Norse mythology—and yes, even Ted Lasso. Divination is my language. Creating beauty from chaos is my specialty.

In November 2020, cancer came barreling in, uninvited. It broke bones and rearranged my life. But it also cleared the fog. What remained—after the infusions, the grief, the fury—was clarity. And a tattoo on my arm: the Vegvísir, an ancient Icelandic compass. It means “Wayfinder,” and that’s what I’ve become.

Hello Los Angeles friends - there's a major storm headed our way and there's an advisory out for Sunday - Tuesday. Get prepared and stay safe. The forecast is for high winds, power issues, and a lot of rain, especially in the foothill areas.

They're anticipating flooding and power outages. So - do what you can to get prpped - this may start as early as tomorrow morning. Take care and BE SAFE everybody!! :)
