If you were to ask my honestly the reason I go so hard for Him in my life, what proof I have in my life that shows that He is real, I don't have an immediate answer that would suffice for your mind.

It's all FAITH.
The Hebrew definition of Faith says faith is an active, dynamic concept of relying on God's proven character, like supporting someone's hands in prayer, rather than passive knowingIt signifies a deep, reliable reliance and loyalty to God.

So, I have had to learn His character and I will say over the past 3 years He has shown me and that has strengthened my Faith. To the point where mentally, I know whatever comes to challenge my belief are old remnants of the past, not the Truth. God has proven to be faithful to me.

Loving, gentle, and patient.
In ways I cannot always express but are very intimate and detailed to my unique journey.

I show up in reverence for Him because of what I have witnessed in my life and others. I claim Him because He has shown me the truth I have been seeking my whole life.

There is a part of me that resists sharing this kind of vulnerability.

I want to appear composed. Grounded. Like I have it all together. And perhaps that resistance is the very thing being exposed.

What does “having it all together” even mean?

To be emotionally led by culture.
By self-merit.
By control dressed up as strength.
That is not togetherness. That is self-reliance.
And Christ is inviting me, again, to lay it down.

If you’re spiritual and searching, or new to faith, this matters:

Trusting God is not about shutting off your intuition or giving up your mind. Proverbs 3:5–6 isn’t asking for blind obedience. It’s inviting you into relationship.

Most women don’t struggle with the idea of God.

They struggle with trusting a God they don’t know personally. Without intimacy, “trust God” feels unsafe. So we lean on what feels familiar: self-trust, intuition, energy, understanding.

But here’s something important to remember sis:
Trust doesn’t come before relationship. It comes from it.

Christianity only makes sense inside relationship. The renewal of your heart, the transformation of your mind, the peace you’re looking for, none of it comes from striving, fixing yourself, or getting it right. It comes from being known and loved by God.

Reading Scripture isn’t about rules. It’s how you learn His character. And once you know His character, trust stops feeling like a risk and starts feeling like rest.

Leaning not on your own understanding doesn’t mean losing yourself.

It means being held by something greater than you.

Scripture gives a clear warning to parents:
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4)

Biblical parenting does not break a child’s will.
It shepherds the heart. God disciplines, yes, but never to dominate. He corrects to restore relationship.

You can love God deeply and still parent from fear.
You can quote Scripture and still be led by unhealed wounds.

This isn’t condemnation. It’s an invitation.
To let God parent you first.
To heal what fear taught you before love did.
So your children don’t have to unlearn it later.

Conscious parenting isn’t modern psychology.
It’s the echo of a Father who has always been gentle, present, and profoundly safe.

And that has always been biblical.

Following Christ shifted everything. My spirit did not actually long for abundance or control. It longed to be with its Creator. And I have learned that closeness to God is found through Jesus Christ, who entered this fallen world and gave His life for my salvation.

Earthly success is no longer the aim. Eternity is. Not as an escape from this life, but as a relationship that begins now.

With God, I feel alive.
With Him, I experience peace.
With Him, I belong.

Before belief can deepen, the body has to feel safe enough to stay present.

That step matters more than most of us were taught.

This is why so many women are surprised to find themselves returning to God after beginning nervous system work.

Not because they were trying to come back.
But because as the body softens, the fear that once lived around God does too.

When vigilance quiets, prayer no longer feels like exposure. When the body feels safe, presence becomes possible. And when presence returns, relationship can follow.

Scripture has always pointed to this even if we weren’t taught to see it this way.

God draws near not through force or fear, but through gentleness, stillness, and peace.

Safety has always been part of the invitation.

What if the ache wasn’t evidence of God’s absence, but evidence of your longing for relationship, not legalism (that often gets mistaken for religion)?

This isn’t about rewriting the past or forcing new conclusions.
It’s simply about allowing a more honest question to exist: Was God truly silent or were you left to suffer alone with no one helping you interpret Him through love?

You don’t need to answer that today.
You only need to know that the question itself is safe.

Now don't get me wrong, God has been and always will hold the power to righteousness wrathfulness in the context of getting angry for rightful reasons. But when God sees you consistently turning to Him, His word, believing in His Son and His works, and turning to Him for repentance (choosing His way and His love over sin), I can promise you His love and grace is more than your own mother's.

So I want to ask you:
Have you ever wrestled with the words fear and wrath of God?

Do you feel it matters whether we read them through the English translation or through their original Hebrew and Greek roots?

And how has the difference between condemnation and conviction shown up in your own faith journey?

Because for me, understanding this has made all the difference.
