Sometimes the company we keep can inundate us with negative messages that pe*****te deep into our unconscious. If all we hear are stories of women in the menopausal transition living wretched lives, that enters your psyche and shapes what you think is possible.

If you're a woman experiencing the menopausal transition, do you believe your life can become even more meaningful, that you can feel even more beautiful, have even more inspiration, feel even more physically fit and have even more power and capacity to transform your life and uplift people around you?

If the answer is no, find the people and stories that lift you up, that don't accept BLAH as your new normal.

Yes the uncomfortable shifts you're experiencing can be addressed. They really can. But let's start with the most important step - choosing your personal narrative and celebrate your passage into the wisdom stage.

I want to scream this on a mountain top... The menopausal transition is not something to fear or dread. It's something to celebrate, a life transition to an amazing stage of life. I'm not denying that women have symptoms related to menopause. But we've went from a society that ignores these symptoms to one that defines this period of life solely with physical and emotional challenges that you may or may not experience. (There are holistic solutions to the symptoms that you may experience during this period of hormonal volatility. I've seen them work.)

Can we shout this loudly? This is an amazing stage of life. So many women have told me they have never felt more powerful and more clear. If it's not amazing for you, can you hold space for the potential that it can be one of the most rewarding periods of your life?

The Deep Healing Program came to me a few months ago when I got clarity that I wanted to work with more people who wanted to do a deep dive into their lives. I wanted to create a healing container that included all my years of training in Ayurveda, energy healing, trauma recovery and spiritual growth.

My work in the healing arts started in trauma counseling and energy healing. Influenced by my decades long study of Raja Yoga meditation, I pivoted to Ayurveda because it answered deeper questions regarding why people get sick (physical, mental, spiritual) - offering many options for individualized solutions.

In the Deep Healing program, I bring in all these components to dig deep into emotional and physical layers, supporting you to shine brightly. The program involves meeting weekly, alternating between short and longer appointments. The weekly meetings are so helpful in supporting individuals who have struggled with implementing changes in the past.

Something special happens in this Deep Healing Program.. epiphanies, shifts that once felt so out of reach, addictions soften and most importantly hopefulness for what comes next.

Join me next Wednesday, February 11. Lots to share about the Ayurvedic approach to detoxification. Detox is a popular word right now, but it's been central to Ayurvedic wisdom for thousands of year. Yes there is the more elaborate process of Panchakarma in Ayurveda. I'll talk about that in the class. Nature has a wisdom for the best practices for sleeping, eating, exercise, sunlight exposure. Humans have this crazy ability (curse) to shun nature's guidance. This class is designed to bring you back to your intuitive knowing so life doesn't feel so hard.

Join me on Saturday, January 17 from 10am-1:30pm, in-person in Eagle Rock/Los Angeles.

This is a collaborative life design class. In addition to learning the essentials of the best rhythm and routine for sleeping, eating, exercising, sunlight exposure, we'll also explore what's essential for your unique body/mind constitution. There are some essentials that are important for everyone and then there are the other aspects of daily routine that have to be designed to fit your uniqueness. We'll even get a mini-cooking class in to give you easy ideas on how to have nutritious, homemade food - one of the biggest challenges in creating harmonious circadian rhythms.

Note: A previous announcement went out about an 8-week program. That program had to be delayed because of scheduling conflicts, so I'm starting out 2026 with a half-day class instead.

December is one of my favorite months. If we slow down the frenzied pace, we can perceive the energy of uplifting spiritual upliftment. I like to take the first weeks of December before Christmas and winter solstice to pay special attention to my meditation and turning inward. It makes the outward celebration that comes later in the month so much sweeter.
