From Harlem to Dyckman, and now Brooklyn, Vladimir Bautista has built more than a business, he’s built a cultural ecosystem.

As CEO & Co-Founder of Happy Munkey, he’ll join us for a timely conversation about ownership, equity, and how communities most impacted by the War on Drugs can participate in shaping Uptown’s future.

29 years later, the voice of The Notorious B.I.G. echoes through every corner where hip-hop lives — from Bed-Stuy stoops to stages around the world.

A master storyteller.
A generational voice.
A crown that never left the culture.

Today we remember the legend whose words turned struggle into poetry and whose legacy continues to shape the sound, style, and spirit of hip-hop.

Forever the King of New York. 🕊️👑

Looking back at our Q2 “Immigration at a Crossroads” program in NYC; a night that reminded me why I’m building Latin Quarter.

In a moment when immigration conversations feel heavy and uncertain, we gathered to share truth, resources, and solidarity.

Hosting this fireside at Middle Church with attorneys Elizabeth Sanchez, Esq. and Ana Gabriela Urizar, Esq. was full-circle — three Latinas who started as students in Syracuse, now creating space for our community to feel informed and supported.

Thank you for nourishing us, and thank you to everyone who showed up with open hearts.
