Join the CDM's own Ms. Rachel for a fun summer session! We are running the popular Social Brains group again next month, a great option for kids who could use guidance on how to handle social situations and interacting more successfully with peers. She's also offering a new group, The Girls Guide to Middle School, designed for students who could use help navigating the ins and outs of the middle school experience. Please see the flyers on our website for more details and contact the clinic to register!

We had an eventful morning at the clinic last week when a random driver accidentally plowed into the front of the clinic. Thankfully, none of our staff or clients were injured in the crash or by the debris, and the driver was okay. The building, however, did sustain some damage. While the front area is currently closed to pedestrians, the clinic is fully open for business during the repair! Please enter the clinic via the doors from the underneath parking area.

Big thanks to the Town of Los Gatos and the emergency responders who were on the scene immediately, working to help quickly handle the situation. We are also very grateful to Fox Creek Fund and staff, our building owners, who jumped in and immediately began handling the damage assessment and needed repairs. We are so appreciative of their responsiveness.

This Friday, we encourage you to participate in collective economic disruption, not business as usual. The oligarchs are working to undermine the ability of families to provide the best care for their children and the decisions from this administration are negatively affecting our patients.

Dismantling the department of education, eliminating the jobs of scientists and physicians at the CDC and HHS, putting in barriers to access to healthcare, threatening our immigrant neighbors, paying unfair wages, and engaging in an illegal war have made us all less safe and less healthy. Our country's democracy is backsliding, and we hope all concerned citizens will speak up and join in May Day efforts.

For information about May 1 events, please see to search for local actions in your area. Participate however you can.

New Episode Out Now: What a Developmental Pediatrician Wants Every Parent to Know
Our latest podcast episode is live — and this one is for every parent who has ever had a gut feeling something was off but didn't know where to turn.
What does a developmental pediatrician actually do, and how is that different from your child's regular doctor? This week, Maayan sits down with Dr. Korb — developmental pediatrician and author of Raising an Organized Child — for an incredibly grounding and practical conversation.
In this episode, they cover:
• The early red flags parents often miss — and why they matter
• What "organization" truly means for a developing brain (it may surprise you)
• The difference between a developmental pediatrician and a general pediatrician
• How to know when it's time to stop waiting and seek an evaluation
• One clear, actionable step you can take right now if your child is struggling
Whether you're a parent, educator, or someone who supports children with learning differences, Dr. Korb's insight is warm, accessible, and genuinely empowering.
Listen now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
