🎨🌿 Getting Crafty! 🌿🎨

Our residents got creative today during craft time making bird feeders! 🥰 It was such a fun afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and hands-on fun. Everyone enjoyed putting their own special touch on their feeders while getting ready to welcome some feathered visitors! 🐤💛

Nothing better than crafting, making memories, and enjoying time together! We can’t wait to see the birds stop by for a snack! 🐦✨

🎶🚶‍♀️ Walking Club Fun! 🚶‍♂️🎶

Today’s Walking Club had the best soundtrack — 80s music playing, lots of smiles, movement, and fun along the way! From singing along to dancing in between steps, everyone had a great time staying active and enjoying the music. 💃🕺

A special shoutout to Susan Bell for joining in with us today — we loved having her be part of the fun! ❤️ Nothing beats good company, good music, and getting those steps in together!

Today we celebrated all of our wonderful residents with birthdays this month! 🥳💙 It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, sweet treats, and special moments as we came together to make our birthday residents feel extra loved and celebrated. Wishing each of them a year full of happiness, health, and joy! 🎈🎁🎂

Recently, team members gathered in Knoxville for an immersive Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Seminar led by Certified Dementia Practitioner® trainer Helen Porter. From Executive Directors and Nurses to Caregivers, Marketing and Activity Professionals, our teams came together with one shared mission — to provide the highest level of person-centered care for our residents.

One of the most impactful experiences of the day allowed participants to “walk in the shoes” of someone living with dementia through sensory exercises designed to simulate confusion, overstimulation, and communication barriers. It was a powerful reminder that patience, empathy, and human connection matter deeply in memory care.

We are proud to invest in ongoing dementia education and Certified Dementia Practitioner® pathways to ensure our residents receive compassionate, respectful, and cutting-edge care every single day.

Because behind every diagnosis is a person with a story, a family, and a life that deserves to be honored. 💜
