Introducing Mindful Massage Meetups — a new monthly space for bodyworkers to connect, trade, learn, and build community.

Held the LAST Monday of every month from 5:30–8:30 PM at Sumana .

The evening will include open bodywork trades, an anatomy + discussion room, lounge space, snacks and refreshments, and plenty of opportunity to talk shop, sharpen your skills, network, and connect with other bodyworkers.

Trading bodywork is completely optional. There are no assigned partners, required modalities, or expectation that you give or receive a certain amount of time. Find someone you’d like to work with, communicate what you’re comfortable practicing or receiving, and make your own trade. Come ready to learn from each other—not to provide a perfect treatment.

This concept takes some influence from the community we’ve built through Kentucky Fried Thai Massage, but Mindful Massage Meetups are for all bodyworkers and all modalities. Bring what you know, share what you’re working on, and be open to something new.

$25 per person helps keep the meetup sustainable and allows us to provide the space, snacks, refreshments, supplies, and overall experience.

No pressure to perform. Just bodywork, conversation, learning, and community.

A few years ago, this was just a pipe dream.

Saturday, I stood in front of another full room of therapists sharing a style of bodywork that completely changed my career.

That isn’t something I take for granted.

Every class adds another group of therapists carrying these techniques into their own practices, and together we are building something special in Kentucky.

Special thanks to our teaching assistants Amanda Vowels and Britt Wilkerson - the weekend wasn’t possible without your help.

More from the weekend coming in the next reel.

One of my favorite meals from our time in Thailand was at The Terracotta Garden in Lamphun. Tucked away among lush gardens, handcrafted terracotta artwork, and countless Reusi Dat Ton statues, it felt like a place where Thai culture, art, and food all came together.

The food was absolutely incredible, the mocktails were just as memorable, and every corner of the garden had something beautiful to discover. As someone who loves the history and traditions behind Thai massage, seeing so many Reusi Dat Ton figures made the experience even more special.

A huge thank you to Alex and Jim for introducing us to this hidden gem. It’s the kind of place we never would have found on our own, and it’s now one of my favorite memories from the trip.

If you ever find yourself near Lamphun, Thailand, this is a stop that’s well worth making.

20 manuals, 2 languages, and a SOLD OUT class this Saturday at Advanced Massage Therapeutics. My heart is full. A little over a year ago I decided to turn down my dream job offer and bet on myself. I think it has worked out.

Excited for all of the old and new faces and super GRATEFUL to be able to share what I love with fellow therapists.

Thai Techniques for the Table Therapist is all about bringing the movement, body mechanics, and flow of traditional Thai massage onto the massage table in a way that’s practical, effective, and easy on your body. It’s hands-on, interactive, and every student gives and receives throughout the day.

I’m teaching this class again Saturday, August 8 in Louisville at Advanced Massage Therapeutics, and I’d love to have you join us. We already have 14 therapists registered, so there are only a few spots left.

If you’ve been wanting to add something different to your sessions while saving your hands and body, this is a great place to start.

Registration is available through the link in my bio, or send me a DM if you have any questions. Hope to see a few more of you there!

Spent Sunday with this awesome group diving into Thai Techniques for the Table Therapist.

Thank you all for showing up with curiosity, great questions, and the kind of attention that makes teaching so rewarding. Every group brings something different to the room, and this one was no exception.

I’ll be back at Advanced Massage Therapeutics on Saturday, August 8th teaching this class again for the public. Please reach out if you are interested in joining us.

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be teaching The Art of Thai Foot Massage at the inaugural Kentucky Massage Festival!

This is a 4-hour NCBTMB-approved CE course where we’ll explore traditional Thai foot massage techniques, including the cultural foot cleansing ritual, Thai reflexology, and how to use the traditional Thai wooden foot stick to work the 23 reflex points. You’ll leave with a complete treatment you can start using right away.

Whether you’re looking to expand your skills or add something unique to your practice, this class is a fun and practical introduction to one of my favorite areas of Thai bodywork.

See you at the Kentucky Massage Festival! 🦶🏼🇹🇭

Day 2 from my Fundamentals of Therapeutic Thai Massage class in May.

We started the morning with a 20-minute gentle yoga flow led by our TA .hands_ , to get everyone back into their bodies after Day 1. From there we revisited our supine and side-lying work, moved into prone and seated techniques, and wrapped up by learning how to connect everything into one smooth, flowing treatment.

Day 2, everyone looked more confident and you could really feel it in the room. It was an honor to teach this class at my alma mater, Advanced Massage Therapeutics.

If you’re ready to keep learning, my next class is:

Thai Techniques for the Table Therapist
Saturday, August 8, 9–5
Advanced Massage Therapeutics.
8 NCBTMB-approved CE hours for $199.

Registration is in my bio, or send me a DM if you have any questions.

A little behind on posting, but that’s what happens when you’re busy unpacking six days of Kentucky Fried Fun.

Earlier this month we welcomed an incredible group of therapists for Level 3 Energy Lines with Diego Marquette. We spent the week studying the Sen lines, Thai medicine philosophy, and hands-on applications while making new friends and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Thank you to everyone who traveled to Louisville, showed up ready to learn, and helped create such a fun and supportive atmosphere. And a huge thank you to Diego for making the trip from Brazil and sharing his knowledge with our community.

We’re already kicking around ideas for the next adventure, and if this class was any indication, it’s going to be something special.

Until then, here are a few highlights from a fantastic week together.

Day 1 of Fundamentals of Therapeutic Thai Massage was all about building the foundation. We explored the history and theory of Thai massage, dialed in body mechanics, and worked through supine and side-lying techniques. Big thanks to my assistants .hands_ and for all the help throughout the weekend.
