Meet one of our wonderful Regency residents!

🌟 Ms. Robinson 🌟

Fun Fact(s)-

She has always loved stuffed animals, especially the ones her grandchildren bring her. Her newest additions include two bunnies , which she named after two characters from her favorite movie, Love Story. She and her husband saw the movie six times before they got married, so the names have an extra special meaning. 🐰💖

Ms. Robinson worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor at the McDonald’s Center for 10 years, helping people with disabilities adjust to changes in their lives and find meaningful job placements. She also spent 10 years counseling in Dallas!

Originally from North Dakota, she says it took some getting used to the weather after moving to both Dallas and Kentucky! ☀️❄️

Her favorite part about Regency is the people. She loves getting to know the staff and residents, learning about their histories, embracing who they are, and hearing their stories.

We’re so glad to have her as part of the Regency family!

After 19 amazing years, we’re saying goodbye to a true staple of the Regency family. We’ll miss your laughter, kindness, and the light you bring to everyone around you.

We celebrated with some Olive Garden to say our goodbyes. We wish you nothing but happiness in your retirement. Congratulations, Shellie—you’ll always be part of our family!!

🌟Therapy Success Story: Ms. Wray 🌟

Before coming to Regency, Ms. Wray was living alone at home and experiencing frequent falls that left her feeling less confident in her independence.

With the support of our therapy and nursing teams, things began to change. Nursing worked closely with our providers to make medication adjustments that improved her balance, while therapy helped her rebuild her strength, confidence, and mobility.

Today, Ms. Wray is thriving. She enjoys spending time with her “Golden Girls” friends, participates in activities every day! She is now independent with her activities of daily living (ADLs) and has regained her confidence and independence.

We are so proud of Ms. Wray and all she has accomplished. Her journey is a wonderful example of how personalized care, teamwork, and determination can make all the difference.
