As we finish out the week celebrating our amazing Housekeepers, we hope the gifts, meals, and special thank-yous have reminded them just how important they truly are to our community and how much they mean to us.

The work they do does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. It’s about so much more than keeping our community clean. It’s about the relationships they build, the bonds they create with our residents, and the way they go above and beyond each and every day.

A Taste of Our Culinary Showcase!

Today’s Culinary Showcase was one to remember! Our Chef prepared and cooked delicious crab cakes right in front of our residents, giving them a front-row seat to the culinary experience.

After watching the preparation, our residents were able to enjoy a sample and taste the finished creation. It’s such a wonderful way to bring our dining experience to life, introduce new flavors, and let our residents see the care and skill that goes into the food we serve.

A big thank-you to our Chef for making it such a fun and delicious experience

Happy National Housekeeping Week to our amazing housekeeping team! We appreciate all the hard work you put into keeping our community looking its best, but what you do means so much more than that.

It’s the bonds you build with our residents. It’s the smiles you keep on your faces. It’s the way you go above and beyond, always willing to help and make a difference.

Thank you for the care, kindness, and dedication you bring to our community every day. We are so grateful for each of you!

Grandparents Day at StoryPoint Northfield

We celebrated Grandparents Day with an afternoon filled with milk, cookies, laughter, and sweet moments together!

Some of our residents enjoyed working on an art sheet, while others joined in for a little friendly competition with bingo. Whether creating something beautiful or sharing a few laughs over a game, it was a wonderful afternoon spent making memories.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our residents and the joy they bring to our community.

A little bit of everything!

Our residents enjoyed some sweet time with W.A.G.S. Pet Therapy, a little music and nail pampering, and then headed outside to refill our bird feeders and check on our little hidden garden.

We even picked some fresh tomatoes straight from the garden!

From furry friends and music to fresh tomatoes, it was one of those days filled with the simple things that bring the biggest smiles.

Labor Day Shenanigans!

Cleaning cabinets, mopping floors, organizing closets, and updating the whiteboard… our residents and staff are working hard this Labor Day!

And then what do we see?! 👀 Our staff plotting their great escape over the giant construction wall!

A Labor Day filled with hard work, good food, great friends, laughter, and a whole lot of shenanigans!

What a special day as we celebrate our Independent Living Employee of the Month, Vanna, our Lead Receptionist!

While Vanna may be our Lead Receptionist, she is truly so much more. She is the glue that holds our building together — always ready with a smile, a kind heart, and a gentle soul. She has a way of making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Our residents, staff, and families all love Vanna, and we are so incredibly grateful for everything she does each and every day.

Congratulations, Vanna! On behalf of everyone in our community, thank you for all that you do and for being such a special part of our StoryPoint family. You are so deserving of this recognition!

The temperatures outside may have kept us indoors, but they certainly didn’t keep us from enjoying our day!

Our residents enjoyed gospel hymn sing-alongs, creating beautiful floral arrangements, and an ice cream social to help keep us cool!

There were smiles, laughter, creativity, friendship, and most importantly, creating special moments together.

Does it get any better than that? We sure don’t think so!
