This week we had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Sarah King, PT, DPT of Spero Rehab in Austin, and Sidney Collin, Inventor of NexStride about techniques and innovations to remedy freezing of gait. Both Sidney and Sarah had valuable insights to share about why freezing occurs, and how to address it. In this clip, Dr. Sarah King demonstrated her 5S method to get unstuck when you freeze. 💔 The hardest blog post I've ever written..

As some of you in our Invigorated Community know, I have made the difficult decision to close Invigorate PT.

I wanted to take some time to thank you all properly for helping me grow something that I believe changed the Parkinson's world for the better, even if it was a very small shift.

🎉 There are, however, some things to celebrate as this chapter comes to an end! Every single one of our Parkinson's programs have found a new home thanks to the wonderful folks at Davis Phinney Foundation, Parkinson Wellness Recovery, and Theory Health - Casey Farlow, RD.

👇 All the details can be found in this blog post.

If you are reading this, thank you for being part of our community and trusting me on your Parkinson's journey. It has meant the world to me. 🙏

It is with a heavy heart that I'm writing this today...

After reviewing 25 trials, the researchers concluded that music is a valid therapy to potentially reduce depression and anxiety, as well as to improve mood, self-esteem, and quality of life."

To take advantage of these benefits, try any of these 5️⃣ music-related activities including:

🎧 Listening to relaxing music
