If you have not already done so, please check your email for your portal registration invitation and download the app on your Apple or Android device.

Our new portal will be the preferred method for:
✅ Requesting documents and forms
✅ Completing pre-visit surveys and paperwork
✅ Scheduling appointments
✅ Communicating with the office
✅ Receiving test results and visit information

We are so excited to offer our families an easier and more convenient way to stay connected with your child’s care! If you need assistance getting registered, our staff is happy to help. 😊

It’s bittersweet… today is Dr. Newstadt’s last day at Kaplan Barron Pediatrics. 💙

After 27 years of caring for the children and families of our community, we want to thank Dr. Newstadt for his dedication, compassion, and commitment to the kiddos of Kaplan Barron Pediatrics. He has touched so many lives over the years, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.

While we will miss him tremendously, we are so excited for him as he begins this new chapter of retirement—one that is well deserved!

Our sendoff starts today as we celebrate all the amazing years he has given to our practice and our families.

Our new patient portal is officially LIVE and ready to use! Our goal is to have EVERY Kaplan Barron Pediatrics family connected by August 1st, 2026. You can download the app on the Apple App Store or Google play!

The patient portal is the fastest and easiest way to manage your child's healthcare, and beginning August 1st, many services will be handled exclusively through the portal, including:
✅ Messaging your provider
✅ Requesting vaccine records and physical forms
✅ Completing required questionnaires and screenings
✅ Paying your bill online
✅ Requesting medication refills
✅ Self-scheduling appointments
✅ Accessing visit summaries and medical information
✅ And much more!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: After August 1st, parents who call the office to leave a message for their provider or request records such as immunization certificates, school physicals, and other forms will be directed to submit those requests through the patient portal.

Nothing brings a team together quite like a box of fresh donuts and a little mid-day sweetness. Today we’re celebrating with our amazing staff here at Kaplan Barron Pediatrics—because the care and compassion they give our patients every day deserves a treat (or two!).

💙 Celebrating 52 Incredible Years of Service 💙

After 52 years of caring for children and families, Dr. Ronald Lehocky will be retiring from Kaplan Barron Pediatrics.
To say that Dr. Lehocky has made a difference would be an understatement. One of his lifelong mottos has always been, "Make a difference in the life of a child," and for more than five decades, he has done exactly that—one patient, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.

Long before it was common practice, Dr. Lehocky opened our doors and his heart to children with special needs, ensuring they received the compassionate care, acceptance, and support they deserved. His vision helped shape Kaplan Barron Pediatrics into a practice where every child is welcomed, valued, and cared for.
His dedication extended far beyond the walls of our office. Through his Heart Project, Dr. Lehocky has helped raise support for The Kids Center, providing children access to therapies and services that have changed countless lives. Whether advocating for a child, comforting a worried parent, supporting community programs, or simply taking the extra time to listen, Dr. Lehocky has always put children first.

His fingerprints are on every part of Kaplan Barron Pediatrics. The values of compassion, inclusion, service, and excellence that our practice was founded upon have been strengthened by his leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to the children of our community.

Over the last 52 years, he has cared for generations of families. Many of his former patients have returned with children of their own, a testament to the trust, relationships, and impact he has built throughout his remarkable career.
While we are excited for this next chapter in his life, it is impossible to imagine Kaplan Barron Pediatrics without him. We will miss his wisdom, his compassion, his sense of humor, and the extraordinary example he has set for all of us.

Please join us in thanking Dr. Lehocky for a lifetime of service and for the countless lives he has touched.

Dr. Lehockys last day in the office will be Friday July 3rd.

More details will be shared soon, but for now, save the date and keep your calendar open! We hope you'll stop by to help us celebrate an incredible career, share your memories, and thank Dr. Lehocky for 52 years of making a difference in the lives of children and families throughout our community.
