🌕 What if the future is calling?

Astara has always been fascinated by the future. And the past. And the eternal now. She calls it time travel and wrote a whole book about it called How the Stars Tell Time.

We produced the audiobook, it is phenomenal and so worth checking out on Patreon. Also, our sound alchemy is a time machine. (More on that later)

So, today’s full (future) moon. 🌕

There are Full Moons that amplify. And there are Full Moons that rearrange what is amplified. Today’s Aquarius Full Moon is the second kind.

Aquarius and Leo are a dance between intellect and emotion. Yet, life is not asking us to choose head or heart. It’s asking us to create coherence between the two (and all our other brains).

One of the themes that kept whispering to Astara while sitting with this moon was community.

This morning we shared our newsletter called The Future of Power exploring why we believe we’re living through an era of reinvention — not just with artificial intelligence and all it is revealing about us, but because human intelligence is evolving.

For most of our lives, imagination is treated as something to outgrow — as if it makes us naïve, unrealistic, or disconnected from reality.

Yet imagination is one of the most practical powers we possess. It is where every reality begins.

Look around the space you are in. Every thing around you right now started in someone’s imagination. 👁️

Every invention, piece of art, and digital device. 
Every scientific breakthrough, justice movement, and act of love.
The room itself, the car, the appliance.
The business, the relationship, the community.

Long before something becomes visible in the world, it begins as an image, a feeling, a possibility held within someone willing to see beyond what already exists.

Imagination isn’t a fantasy or an escape from reality. It’s the way we participate in creating it.

This Saturday, August 1, we’re opening the doors of Inner Space Academy to the public for one of the few times each year.

We’ll spend an afternoon at Mallet Lodge, in the forest of Platte River State Park, building imagination muscle in the living laboratory of our academy.

If you don’t like the reality you are sitting in, do not be concerned. You have the capacity to participate in shaping a new one.

Nature has been Astara’s and Orion’s greatest mentor since they were little.

Long before Astara became an architect…
before Orion went fishing with his father…
before Astara studied environmental science…
before Orion studied anatomy at elevation…
before Astara studied biomimicry…
before Astara and Orion studied shamanism…
before Astara wriote How the Stars Tell Time…
before Orion filmed and recorded Biophilia…
before we composed our nature-based music…

there was simply the quiet knowing that nature understood something we didn’t yet have words for. 🕸️

This reel includes excerpts from our film Biophilia and music from our soundtrack with us channeling sound alchemy over the sounds of cranes, the ocean, rivers, and crickets.

Yet, no film, book, or recording can replace being together in the living classroom itself with organic sound and no digital compression.
