Introducing Kim Adam (MA, LPCC, ATRP) one of our therapists, currently taking new clients. Kim combines cognitive behavior theories with expressive arts in her therapeutic approach.
Kim works with all ages, but particularly enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. She offers experience with neurodivergence, focusing on identity exploration, understanding and processing emotions, and parent coaching.
Kim also works with clients experiencing grief and loss, chronic illness, and care-giving responsibilities.

Louisville Family Center is thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Glencora King, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who recently relocated to Louisville from the Bay Area!

Glencora brings a wealth of expertise and passion for working with teens and families, with deep knowledge in areas like neurodivergence, gender and sexual identity, generational differences, diverse family dynamics, and the impact of trauma on the body and relationships. And has openings available now.

Glencora earned her Master’s of Science from San Francisco State University and trained at the renowned Infant-Parent Program at San Francisco General Hospital, where she supported vulnerable infants and new mothers. She went on to make a significant impact in the San Mateo County Health System, where she also helped youth transitioning to independent living. Her diverse experience and commitment to her clients make her an incredible asset to our team.

Outside of her professional work, Glencora is a passionate reader, a mom to two kids, and has been enjoying life with her partner of nearly 20 years. She’s also a talented jewelry artist and an active member of the Burning Man community, bringing creativity and connection into everything she does. We are excited to welcome Glencora and invite you to experience her unique blend of empathy, expertise, and energy!

We are Hiring!!

The Louisville Family Center, providing heart-centered therapy on Main Street in Louisville, has an opening for a Play Therapist. We are a group practice looking for therapists who are interested in learning more about non-directive, somatic play therapy in a private practice setting. This is a part time paid position, that has the potential to move into a full time position.

This position might be a good fit for you if:

-You are passionate about working with children and families
-You are looking to expand your play therapy skills
-You want to learn more about private practice work
-You are independent, while also good at collaborating with a group
-You are willing to explore and get curious about the unknown
- Must have a masters in counseling and working toward license.

The position includes individual and group supervision, education and training in the field of play therapy, specifically Synergetic Play Therapy, Attachment Based Play Therapy and Internal Family Systems.

Practitioners in our office work with a diverse group of clients from individuals, couples, families and children. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative team, and provide opportunities for our therapists to work together and give support when needed.
