Thank you to our Hospitality Committee that hosted LNT’s 47th Birthday party tonight at the Jeffersonian! Over 50 people enjoyed the decorations, food, games, prizes, & companionship of being with others that enjoy the love of sewing. There were 3 new members that joined our group tonight & also a few visitors-we hope that they come back to join our group!

We had lots of beautiful “sew&tell” items that were shared with the group at our birthday party August 6th, several that were then donated to Cuddle Care & SHP. If a prize would have been given for the most quilts completed & shared, it would have gone to David! Thanks to everyone for a job well done!

Explore the presence of caviar in Kentucky through America's Best Caviar in Paducah; Louisville Nimble Thimbles is a non-profit quilting guild that serves the Jefferson County area; and neglected horses in Franklin County are on the road to recovery.

Thank to members that joined us at the Jeffersonian Thursday to bind quilts that were long armed at Quilted Joy last week. We completed 37 quilts & many went home with members to be completed before being sent to the children at Norton Children’s Hospital. 130 quilts went to Nortons today.

You are welcome to join us Thursday, July 23 for a bonus meeting. We will be binding quilts for Cuddle Care from our day at Quilted Joy. Last Friday binding was matched to each quilt at St Matthew's Eline Library. Our guild has been busy, 60 quilts to bind!

July 23rd at the Jeffersonian starting at 10 am.

Reminder for our Thursday, July 2nd night meeting, creating Maryhurst bags. July 2, 2026, 6:30 p.m. at the Jeffersonian.

Come early to help with setup and conversation. Bring your basic supplies: Sewing machine, manual and tools thread bobbins, extra needles (hand and machine) pins scissors, cutting mat (12” x 18”) rotary cutter rulers.

Thank you Mary for the “All Tangled Up” class on June 18th. Folks were whipping out the blocks in no time! At a later date blocks will be sewn together to make quilts to donate to Norton Children’s Hospital.
