I’m ready for fall🍂 It’s been a nice break though! I could bet there are others out there who choose summer as a time of rest too huh? It’s okay!
As school children we had those magical summer breaks. Now as adults we work without breaks and if we take one it’s likely in the summer. It’s okay if that’s not true for you! I love fall, so I busy up the calendar then and even into winter. Whatever you do stay cool😎

When our “fight or flight” (also freezing and fawning) response is activated it’s difficult to regulate thoughts, emotions, and moods. We may not be at our kindest or able to mask the difficulty we’re experiencing with others. Please don’t start negative self talking yourself. Try apologizing then find activities that bring you peace and joy. You can identify these by how your body reacts when you’re doing that activity or with a certain person/non-human animal.
Also, call your therapist😊

This “𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅” moment happened while I was waiting during some routine maintenance vehicle maintenance. I looked up from my phone and observed a heart shaped tree. I smiled and thought “I see you nature”💚
The smallest moments can have a big positive effect on our health. Just a little reminder to look up from our phones then be present and mindful of what brings the smallest tug to the corners of our lips
