The board certified providers at PPTI are expertly trained to treat a wide variety of painful conditions affecting the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. We treat many different disorders of the neck, mid back, and low back, including disc herniation, compressed nerves, and arthritis of the facet joints and sacroiliac joints. We offer cutting edge treatment options for arthritis and other conditions affecting the joints of the arms and legs. Common problems involving the nervous system that are commonly treated in our practice include Diabetic peripheral neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome, pain following shingles, and chronic nerve damage from injuries. Our providers also have innovative treatment plans for patients that continue to suffer from pain following surgery, including neck and back surgery and total joint replacements.

Please join us in welcoming Cara Cumby, PA-C, to the Premier Pain Treatment Institute team! Cara earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati before completing her Master of Medical Science in Physician Associate Studies at Miami University. Before becoming a Physician Associate, Cara worked as a Certified Surgical Technologist, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the operating room and developing a strong foundation in patient care and surgical medicine.

Cara was drawn to pain management because of the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients living with chronic pain. She values the combination of medical management, procedures, and long-term patient relationships that allow her to develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving both comfort and function.

Cara will be seeing patients at both our Mount Orab and Loveland offices, and she is excited to begin her career with Premier Pain, continue to grow as a provider, and build meaningful relationships with her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and dogs, as well as thrifting, antiquing, discovering good food, and relaxing at home with friends.

We’re continuing to lead the way in advanced, minimally invasive, implant-free options for chronic lower back pain for our patients!
