“Statins don’t work the way most people think they do.”

Statins are widely prescribed—and they absolutely have benefits. They lower LDL cholesterol, reduce inflammation, and can reduce cardiovascular events.

But here’s what often gets overlooked: that reduction is about 25% relative risk… which means many patients still experience events even while on therapy.
