Celebrataing Rehab Success! 🎉 Following a short 13-day stay, Ms. Elmore was able to return home because of her hard work and determination in her therapy sessions.

By the time Ms. Elmore went home she was modified independent with the use of a single point cane, and she was walking community distances! She was also able to navigate unlevel surfaces outdoors including curbs and ramps as well as steps.

When given the award she said "I wouldn't have been able to do it without you all, you were my rock!"

We miss you already Brenda and hope you're doing well at home!

Thankful Thursday! We celebrate staff every Thursday with a special treat to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication. Today we honored them because they are a big “Dilly” Dilly bars from our local Dairy Queen. Thank you again for all you do to make our residents stay healthy and happy.

Congratulations to our June Rehab Rockstars, Sarah Blackburn and Anna Crowley!
After a short stay with our rehabilitation team, Sarah and Anna made great progress and returned home with greater independence. Their kindness and positive spirits brightened our days, and we’re so proud of all they’ve accomplished.

We wish you both all the best at home!

Brian Center Alleghany is now accepting applications for our upcoming CNA Class starting on 08/07/2026! All applicants must complete the formal application, undergo an interview, required background checks, 2 reference checks, and a drug screen. All applications must be submitted no later than July 31st!

Congratulations to India & Karamello Cook on completion of the Nurse Aide program at The Brian Center. The program last for four weeks and is offered locally to anyone wanting to become a Nurse Aide. India & Karamello are sisters, ( our first set of siblings) to complete the course. These young ladies plan to begin their career with us at The Brian Center. Join me in wishing them nothing but success in their new careers!!! Congratulations ladies!!!!
