We were honored and energized by a special visit from our State Senator (and former Lowell CHC Board Member and colleague) Vanna Howard last Thursday. The Senator presented Sor Peña, our Director of Practice Operations, with a special citation for receiving the Health Center Employee Award from the MA League of Community Health Centers. She also stopped by Family Medicine to welcome members of the inaugural class of the Lowell Community Health Center | Tufts Medicine | Family Medicine Residency. Plus, we connected with Mercy Anampiu, Senior Director of Community Engagement, and Project LEARN students exploring health careers.

The future of primary care in action! On Monday, we welcomed the inaugural class of the Lowell Community Health Center | Tufts Medicine | Family Medicine Residency. So much incredible energy as Lowell CHC Leaders and Board Members gathered on Jackson Street to welcome the entire class on their first day of training.

☀️🌡🚨 With the forecasted heat, it's important to stay safe and look out for heat-related illnesses. Unhealthy heat can be dangerous and even life-threatening if precautions are not taken.

🏊 S. Common Pool (200 South St) opens today for the season

➡️ Eliot Presbyterian Church (273 Summer St) is open Monday through Friday, 10:00AM-2:30PM. St. Pauls Soup Kitchen is open 2:00-6:00PM, with dinner served at 5:00PM

➡️ Vinfen Restoration Center of Greater Lowell (10 Technology Dr) is open 24/7, providing access to multiple support services in a safe, air-conditioned environment
