Since 1960, D'Youville Life & Wellness Community has been dedicated to offering exceptional elder care to Greater Lowell and surrounding areas, earning the trust and respect of our community and peers. Founded in 1960 by the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa, D’Youville has earned the trust of the community and the respect of its peer organizations for providing area seniors with superior care. We prov

ide a continuum of care to meet the changing needs of seniors:

- Short-term rehabilitation and transitional care
- Adult day health care
- Specialized Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related care
- Long-term nursing care
- Hospice care
- Independent living at Bruyere Gardens, our affordable housing community

We have expanded our services with the opening of D’Youville’s Center for Advanced Therapy, a 33-bed short-term rehab/transitional care facility in the spring of 2012. D’Youville is led by a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about their vocation and who share the vision that the Sisters of Charity had in creating a place where Greater Lowell’s aging population could be cared for with compassion and dignity. D’Youville recognizes that the whole person needs care – that the spiritual self is permanently entwined with the physical self and, as such, should be nurtured and sustained with the same attention as would be given to the body.

🎉 National Nursing Home Week was in full bloom! 🌸

This year’s theme, Moments in Bloom, brought joy to our residents and staff alike. Our residents helped create a beautiful “Staff in Bloom” display by cutting out flowers, while a week of special activities delighted everyone with ice cream, sugar cookies, watermelon, frozen mocktails, and capped off with McDonald’s burgers and fries.
