🪽✨ Testimony Tuesday ✨🪽
“When I was in massage school, we were told that the average career span for a massage therapist could be as short as five years due to the physical demands, repetitive strain, and wear and tear on the body. At the time, it sounded dramatic.
However, as I approached the five-year mark in my own career, I began to understand exactly what they meant. My hips were locking up painfully, my back would seize at night when I tried to sleep, and my shoulders and arms constantly felt inflamed and overworked. I found myself questioning how much longer I could realistically continue in this profession.
Everything changed when I discovered Volee/AntiGravity fitness . Incorporating this practice into my routine has truly extended my career. Through consistent training, I was able to build strength, improve mobility, decompress my spine and joints, and relieve chronic stiffness. The hip locking stopped, my back no longer seizes at night, and I can finally sleep without arm pain waking me up.
As massage therapists, we consistently educate our clients about the importance of self-care, stretching, and maintaining a regular movement practice. Yet many of us struggle to prioritize those same habits for ourselves. For me, Volee/AntiGravity fitness became more than just exercise — it was a sustainable way to restore my body both physically and mentally.
I am now 13 years into my career as a massage therapist, and I truly believe I would not still be practicing today without it.”
