🌟 A Therapy Success Worth Celebrating at Avir at Lubbock! 🌟

We're proud to celebrate Rieta B. and the remarkable progress she's made in her independence, mobility, and confidence. Through her dedication and hard work with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, Rieta has improved her safety awareness, mobility, and socialization skills. She has also been fall-free for two months and is now proudly walking throughout the building with her rolling walker under supervision.

Affectionately known as “Rieta Pita,” she also enjoys staying involved in community life through bingo, music, special events, and time spent with others. Her perseverance, progress, and beautiful smile inspire us, and we are honored to celebrate every step forward with her! ❤️

🏈 Football season is officially underway at Avir at Lubbock!

Our residents kicked off the season with an NFL and Texas Tech tailgate party filled with team spirit, great food, and plenty of football fun! We picked six teams to follow throughout the season: the Chiefs, Cowboys, 49ers, Broncos, Raiders, and Buffalo Bills, and we cannot wait to see who makes it all the way to the Super Bowl! 🎉

A special thank you to Diana Torres from AccentCare Hospice for providing a delicious fruit tray and chips, and to our kitchen team for the chocolate chip cookies and fruit punch. It was the perfect way to celebrate the start of football season together! ❤️🏈

Sandi, Regional Business Development, will be stepping in as Interim Marketing support, bringing 21 years of healthcare experience and a genuine passion for helping patients, families, and referral partners. She is committed to supporting every referral from start to finish and ensuring each person receives the attention and care they deserve.

Outside of work, Sandi enjoys spending time with her family and dachshunds, long distance running, and traveling to new places. We are excited to have her supporting our Lubbock community! ✨
