🌵 Happy Monday y'all. This week we are taking inspiration from the Opuntia Cactus.🌵

Think about this plant for a second. It grows in the brutal heat 🥵with little water, asks for nothing, and still manages to feed people, heal people, and protect everything around it. 🥰It has been feeding wildlife 🐾and people on these plains for centuries. Nopales on your breakfast plate🍳, prickly pear jam on your toast, medicine for your body and your spirit.✨🧘‍♂️

It gives generously and it does not deplete itself doing it.
It puts up boundaries without apology. 🌵Those spines are not aggression. They are self respect.💪

Native peoples planted it at their doorways intentionally. Not just as a fence but as a guardian. A living boundary between their space and anything that meant them harm. Curanderismo traditions still honor that today.✊🌵

Today we are putting it out there to be a little more like the Opuntia. Give freely. Nourish yourself and your people. Put up your spines when you need to. Protect your energy, your peace, and your people without explanation. 🧿☮️
