Life feeling a little STRESSED lately?

Between work, family, appointments, errands, laundry, messages, and the never ending list of things that need your attention, sometimes you don’t realize how much tension you’re carrying until your shoulders are practically touching your ears.

Since today is Mad Hatter Day, we have a question:

What’s making YOUR week feel a little crazy right now?

Work?
Kids?
Your schedule?
All of the above?

Whatever is keeping you busy, don’t forget that your body needs a little attention too.

If your neck is tight, your shoulders are tense, or your back has been reminding you that it exists, make some time for yourself this week.

Schedule your massage with Flowing Hands Massage.

Sometimes your body whispers before it starts yelling.

That tight spot between your shoulders that keeps coming back.

The stiff neck after a long day.

The muscles that still feel tense even when you’re trying to relax.

It’s easy to ignore those little signs when life is busy.

Here’s your reminder that you don’t have to wait until you’re completely uncomfortable to schedule a massage.

Which one gets you the most: neck, shoulders, or lower back?

Tell us below. 👇

MONDAY QUESTION:

If your body could send you a text right now, what would it say?

A. Please stretch me.

B. We need more sleep.

C. Please do something about these shoulders.

D. BOOK THE MASSAGE ALREADY.

E. All of the above.

I have a feeling E is going to win.

We get so busy listening to what everyone else needs that it’s easy to ignore what our own bodies have been telling us.

So, what letter are you today?

And if your answer happens to be D or E… you know where to find us.

Sunday night has a way of showing up way too fast.

Before you start thinking about Monday morning, take a second and check in with yourself.

How does your body feel right now?

Are your shoulders tight?
Is your back bothering you?
Are you already feeling tired just thinking about the week ahead?

We’re really good at planning everything we need to DO this week. Maybe it’s time to start planning how we’re going to take care of ourselves, too.

If a massage has been on your “I need to do that” list for a while, this might be the week to finally make it happen.

What’s one thing you’re doing for yourself this week?

We schedule everything.

Work.
Appointments.
Practices.
Meetings.
Birthdays.
Grocery pickup.
Things for the kids.
Things for everyone else.

Then somehow “take care of myself” gets squeezed into whatever time is left.

What if we changed that?

Put yourself on the schedule too.

Not because you’ve earned it.
Not because everything else is finally finished.

Simply because your body needs care too.

What’s one thing you wish you made more time for?

If your answer includes a massage, we can help with that. 😉

You made it through the week.

But did your shoulders? 😂

Before you fill your weekend with errands, laundry, grocery shopping, kids’ activities, cleaning, and everything else you didn’t get to Monday through Friday…
save a little time for YOU.

Your weekend can include rest too.

If you’ve been saying, “I really need a massage,” this is your sign to stop saying it and finally schedule it.

Flowing Hands Massage is welcoming new and returning clients.

What does your perfect weekend reset look like?

Massage?
Nap?
Quiet house?
All three? 🙌

Quick body check.

1. Drop your shoulders.

2. Unclench your jaw.

3. Relax your hands.

4. Now take a deep breath.

Did you realize you were tense before you read this?

Sometimes we carry stress all day without even noticing what our body is doing.

So let’s see what everyone says:

Where do YOU carry most of your stress?

A. Neck
B. Shoulders
C. Back
D. All of the above 😩

If you answered D, we probably need to get you on the schedule.

Imagine this:

Your phone is on silent.

Nobody is asking you a question.

There’s nowhere you need to drive.

Nothing needs to be cleaned.

No emails need an answer.

For the next hour, you get to simply be still.

For a lot of us, that almost sounds like a vacation. 😂

But taking care of yourself doesn’t always require getting away. Sometimes you just need to give yourself permission to stop.

If you’ve been thinking about scheduling your first massage with Flowing Hands, we’d love to have you.

Who else could use one completely uninterrupted hour this week? 🙋‍♀️
