George Regional Health System is excited to welcome Erin Lazenby, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, to our pediatric team!

Erin brings more than 25 years of experience caring for children and families and has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2014. A lifelong resident of South Mississippi, she is excited to continue doing what she loves—caring for children, getting to know their families, and watching them grow.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, their family and grandchildren, and escaping to the beach whenever they can.

George Regional Health System is excited to welcome Dr. Andrew Youssef, General Surgeon, to our team!

Dr. Youssef earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed his surgical residency in Houston, Texas. He and his wife, Ann, along with their daughter, are excited to make Lucedale home and become part of our community.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Youssef enjoys spending time with his family, working on cars, watching soccer, and trying out local restaurants.

The George Regional Health System Foundation is excited to begin accepting applications for our 2027 Scholarship Program!

Whether you’re a graduating high school senior planning your next step or already pursuing a career in healthcare, we have two scholarship opportunities available:

🎓 Foundation Scholarship – $500 scholarships for graduating high school seniors pursuing their future education and career goals.

🩺 Healthcare Scholarship – $5,000 scholarships for students accepted into an accredited healthcare program.
