Today, we pause to honor the memory of Karen Mills, a beloved member of the George Regional Health System family for nearly 20 years.

Karen was more than a dedicated employeeβ€”she was a kind, dependable, and friendly presence who brightened the lives of everyone around her. Her warm smile, caring heart, and unwavering commitment to serving others left a lasting impression on her coworkers, gym members, and our community.

She could always be counted on, not only for her reliability and strong work ethic, but also for the compassion and positivity she shared so freely each day. Karen’s legacy of kindness, service, and friendship will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Rest in peace, Karen

πŸ’™ Prayers for Merritt πŸ’™

Our Southeast Rehab and GRHS family is asking for your prayers for our Occupational Therapist, Merritt Vise, following an accident this weekend that left Merritt severely burned.

Merritt has been a blessing to so many of our patients through his compassion, dedication, and care. As he begins what will be a long road to recovery, we ask our community to surround him and his family with prayers, love, and encouragement. We will have someone stepping in for OT while he recovers.

We know the strength of our community, and we are grateful for every prayer offered on Merritt’s behalf. We look forward to the day we can welcome him back to Southeast Rehab.πŸ’™
