🎉🍕 A slice of pizza and a whole lot of birthday cheer!

Joan, Christa, Barbara, Court, Jack, and Jim enjoyed celebrating together at our October birthday pizza party at Keystone Commons! A special birthday shout-out to Jack and Court, who are both celebrating 95 years young! 🎂🎈

Dolores and Valerie enjoyed their birthday meals in their apartments. We missed Ellis, Lana, Ray, Emmy, and Lorraine at the party and send them warm wishes for a wonderful birthday! 🧡

Happy 90th Birthday, Therese!!!🎂

Therese celebrated this wonderful milestone with family, going out for lunch and dinner, a festive door decorated just for her, and birthday cake during our entertainment! When it was her moment to shine, she took a delighted bow—making the celebration even sweeter! 💕

Therese loves music, painting, and crafts, and she brings that same care to our community, sweeping outside her apartment every day to keep our walkways tidy. 🧹✨

We’re so happy to celebrate you, Therese! Here’s to a year filled with music, creativity, and love. Join us in wishing her a very happy 90th birthday! 🥳💐

Saddle Up Month brought a little chuckwagon cooking to Keystone Commons! 🤠

Our Chefs Club crew—Harriet, Adele, Josephine, Mary Ellen, Carole, and Claudette—chopped meats and vegetables, then packed them into foil pouches with BBQ sauce and spices for a campfire-style dinner.

And dessert may have stolen the show: warm bananas with graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate! 🍌🍫

🐾 There’s a new reason to look forward to Wednesdays at Keystone Commons! 🐾

We’re so excited to introduce Sky and her wonderful owner, Pat, two of our very own Keystone Commons residents! 💕

Pat recently shared with us that sweet Sky is a registered therapy dog, and they have generously decided to share Sky’s special talents and lots of love with our residents!

Sky is as sweet as can be, loves showing off her tricks, and is always happy to accept plenty of cuddles, attention, and, of course… treats! 🦴🐶

Our residents will now get to enjoy special visits with Sky every Wednesday afternoon. Whether she’s performing a trick, snuggling up beside someone, or simply bringing a smile to a resident’s face, we know Sky will be a very special part of our Keystone family. ❤️

🐴 A Courtyard Full of Joy!

Shannon and her wonderful team from Cloverbrook Farm brought two beautiful horses to visit.

🍎 Our generous Random Act of Kindness group had prepared special apple treats just for the horses!

Everyone got to feed, kiss and brush these gentle visitors; this moment filled the courtyard with excitement and so much joy. 💕

Our residents had a wonderful reason to celebrate: our Senior Living Counselor, Danielle, is getting married in November! 💍💕

They threw her a “Boots, Blooms & Bride-to-Be” bridal shower, complete with plenty of pink sparkle. Danielle was showered with attention, laughter, and so much love.

A Week Full of Western Fun!

Our Assisted Living Week stayed true to the Saddle Up, Buttercup theme.

Staff enjoyed an appreciation chuckwagon feast with pulled pork sliders and mac & cheese to a trail mix cart.

Entertainment included:
🪕 Old Country
🎶The beloved Mike and Dan
🐎 FUN horse-themed game
🤠Cowgirl door decorations
🎨Horse race crafts.

Since we can’t call ourselves cowboys and girls without a horse - 🐴 we delighted residents with a horse-and-wagon ride through Ludlow!

Saddle up for a little creativity! 🐴🎨

At today’s ArtSong, LLC with Amy session, residents continued our horse theme by painting horses of their own. It was wonderful to see each person’s colors, style, and personality come through.

Art therapy offers a chance to express yourself, connect with others, and enjoy the calming focus of creating something with your hands. Thank you, Amy, for bringing such a fun morning to our residents!

Giving back never tasted so good! 🍂❤️

During their bi-monthly visit to the Ronald McDonald House, Adele, Carole, Dolores, Mary Ellen, Josephine, Christa, Harriet, and Claudette helped prepare a comforting fall lunch for the families. The menu featured Swedish meatball soup and warm apple-spiced cake—perfect autumn favorites made with lots of love!

A heartfelt thank you to Celine and Allen, and to the families of the Ronald McDonald House, for always making us feel so welcome. We are grateful for every opportunity to lend a helping hand in our community! 🏡🍎🥣
