Bethany David, Physician Liaison, and Meagan Myers, RN Clinical Care Manager, attended the Senior Health Fair at the Alabama-Coushatta Senior Center along with Meagan’s daughter, Maggie, and her friends Kaylani and Andi.

The three young ladies are juniors enrolled in the Health Science program at Big Sandy High School and volunteered their time to assist with taking vital signs, lipid panels, and blood glucose levels for the elders who participated in the health fair.

💙Favorite APW memory: I don’t have a particular story but, my favorite thing about being a nurse is working with the families and the patient. Whether it be seeing a patient improve to the point they graduate from our services or supporting them as they transition to a higher level of care knowing that I was there to help them in either situation is extremely rewarding and makes every hard day worth it.
