Our week concluded with a memorable Mother’s Day celebration at Summerhouse Ashton Manor. Together with Hospice Specialists of Louisiana, we hosted a charming “Grandmother and Me” tea party. Residents and their loved ones dressed in lovely outfits and hats, some sharing personal teacups. We served finger sandwiches, fruits, and cookies, while everyone enjoyed steeping their own hot or cold tea with sugar, lemon, or honey. Live music added to the joyful atmosphere. ✨

Last Thursday, we pampered our residents with a relaxing SPA day! Caregivers, along with a special guest, Emilee from our office, helped residents enjoy manicures and soothing face masks. It was a day filled with tranquility and smiles. Do you enjoy self-care activities? 💅✨

Last Wednesday, our residents enjoyed a special Mother’s Day luncheon 🌸. Each lady received a single rose and a heartfelt card from Shane, our celebrations director, making the day extra memorable 💐❤️. The delicious menu included chicken and sausage pastalaya, fried chicken, spring salad, and strawberry shortcake 🍓🍽️. It was wonderful seeing everyone socialize and leave with full hearts and full bellies. Celebrate the moments that matter!

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo in style last Tuesday! 🎉 Shane, Demetria, and Maria crafted a delicious spread featuring chips, salsa, and a cinnamon-sugar fried tortilla with a sweet cream cheese dip.
