Let's grow the community of people that are taking hold of their health. Southeast Texas it is time. Hold The Rope. 😤

This project was created by our good friends over at and I could not have been more satisfied and stoked about the product. If you have a story to be told, Ivan and Paige Rivero are a wonderful videographer-photographer team and can bring your business and ideas to the next level!

Welcome to our "Recovery Series" where our goal is to eduacate you on certain aches and pains and ways to get rid of them. Trigger points can be painful, but they don't need to be mysterious. If you have a tight, palpable knot, know that they can be taken care of, and, if you are needle-aversed, know there are multiple other ways to take care of them too!

If you are needing any help with trigger points or knots, we would be happy to help over at Hold The Rope PT!

I hope the information was valuable and as always...

This is the purest definition of what it means to "Hold the rope." One facet of how our name came into being is from a movie called "Hacksaw Ridge" that tells the story of a WWII conscientious objector named Desmond Doss who wanted to serve the United States Army through his service as a medic. Though he did not wield a weapon, still Doss chose to serve his men unprotected on the war-torn battlefield. One scene depicts Doss lowering injured man after injured man from the height of the ridge, exclaiming, "Lord, please just help me get one more." That is our mission and that is the sentiment behind it. We thank the soldiers and veterans that lead with this example.

Almost every patient's primary goal for physical therapy is to get out of pain, and that makes sense! But what about getting back to playing "X" sport, or running "Y" race, or competing in "Z" event. There is a logical next step that must occur to be able to perform these activities: you must train. At Hold The Rope Physical Therapy our goal is to meet you in your trenches and we are now offering personalized training to help you meet your physical goals. 💪

Health is an active process. Take the first step!

We are celebrating 3 years of meeting you in the trenches! What a blessing it is to look back on all the stories and experiences that Hold The Rope has been a part of in the past few years. We are excited to see where the Lord leads and who He puts in front of us. Just like in the movie Hacksaw Ridge, Desmond Doss cries out as he drags war-torn soldiers off the battlefield,

"Please Lord, help me get one more."

This is our mission as well. I am excited to see what this year holds, but one thing is true, we will continue to meet you in your trenches.

Physical therapy is much more than just performing exercise. There are all kinds of supplemental interventions that can assist with activation of musculature and improvement of range of motion of your affected tissues/joints, including spinal manipulation and traction!

You learn something new... Every. Single. Day. I hope that my lessons learned can equip you to better understand what may be going on with you physically. It's just one more way that we meet you in the trenches.

Do it right, do it light. Do it wrong, do it long! I am about 11 years removed from my football years, and this lesson continues to resurface as I continue to live this life the Lord has provided. I urge you to promptly address each challenge in life with a Proverbs 10:4 mentality. It will bear much fruit.
