Hard truth: you can't consistently pour into others if you have nothing to pour.
The people around you don't need a depleted and tired version of you. You have to prioritize your spiritual, emotional and physical health in order to love and serve others (and God) well.
Spend time being filled by God. Start your day with a prayer, read The Word, and spend time worshipping Him. Welcome His peace, wisdom and strength into your spirit.
Get to know yourself and understand your threshold. Learn when you should preserve your energy and when you should expend it. Saying "no" to things in order to avoid burnout and overexertion is not selfish - it's wisdom.
Give yourself permission to rest and restore yourself when you need it. Whether it's taking time to be still or engaging in activities that bring you joy, caring for your own well-being replenishes your capacity to show up with greater patience, compassion, and purpose.
