Today, Wesley Pines Retirement Community celebrated an exciting milestone in our expansion project with a special Topping Out Ceremony!

Staff, residents, families, and friends came together to sign a commemorative piece of plywood, sharing messages of hope, encouragement, and excitement for the future. Once signed, the construction team carefully placed the plywood on the roof, marking a significant moment in the building process.

The Topping Out Ceremony symbolizes more than construction progress—it represents the dedication, vision, and community spirit that continue to shape the future of Wesley Pines. We are grateful to everyone who participated in this memorable occasion and look forward to the opportunities and experiences this expansion will bring for generations to come.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

Check out what one of our staff members found while out shopping at a local thrift store.

Brenda Ivey, our Nutrition Clerk and her daughter were out shopping and found this beautiful ceramic dish at Rare Finds and what a rare find it is! When she turned over and looked at the sticker she saw the dish was made at Wesley Pines in 1983! How cool is that?

Does anyone know who the initials belong to?

Caregivers at our community are trained in Heartfelt Connections . This is a Memory Care Program® that focuses on each resident’s abilities to create enriching and joyful moments. This nationally recognized model is grounded in five principles:
· We view aging as a natural process — life stories to be continued.
· We believe what remains is far more important than what is lost.
· We focus on each resident’s unique remaining abilities.
· We embrace and celebrate everything our residents do.
· We create success stories, one small victory at a time.
