💙🌊 ALL STAR SWIMS SAFELY… AND SO SHOULD YOU! ⭐🏊‍♂️

At AchieveAbility Therapy, we're on a mission to help reduce drownings in Florida, especially within our autism community! 💙

🚨 DID YOU KNOW? Children with autism can face an increased risk of drowning, making water safety education, awareness, and prevention more important than ever!

That's why we're taking ACTION! 💪

🎥 We've created animated water safety videos for children AND parents, helping families learn important ways to stay safe around pools and other bodies of water!

🏡 And we're not stopping there!

Our very own Community Liaison, Lisa, recently spoke at a City of Tampa Town Hall meeting with Luis Viera, advocating for drowning prevention and sharing her vision for increased fencing and safety barriers to help protect vulnerable children.

💙 Because one drowning is one too many, and every child deserves the opportunity to explore their world SAFELY!

We're proud to be part of these important community conversations and to help turn awareness into ACTION!

Our team had the opportunity to attend "Creating a Plan for the Future," an incredible community event bringing local organizations and resources together to help families navigate one of life's biggest transitions — the journey into adulthood!🌟

We were SO excited to share our Achievers Social Club, SQUAD Social Skills Program, and Adult Transition Services with families looking for opportunities beyond traditional therapy!

Our Achievers Social Club is hosting a FRIENDSGIVING celebration, and we can't wait to bring everyone together for a night of friendship, fun, and gratitude! 🫶

Our Social Club is designed specifically for teens and adults with developmental disabilities who can participate independently, providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space to build friendships, socialize, and just HAVE FUN!

Meet BOGIE, the sweetest therapy dog who will be visiting our Lutz clinic a few times each month! 🐾

And the kids? THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM!🥰

Who knew working on important skills could be THIS much fun?!
