The facility proudly hosted a luncheon for the Long Island Visually Impaired Persons Group, thoughtfully organized by our incredible community marketer, Denise Walsh. 💜 The event was filled with laughter, conversation, and connection.

Our bakery team added an extra touch of sweetness with beautifully crafted goodie bags for everyone, little treats that brought smiles all around! 🥐

Today’s Diabetic Baking Group was all about making healthy feel delicious. 🧁

Residents took part in creating a sugar-free, low-carb vanilla bean mousse 😋 proof that mindful eating can still be rich, creamy, and satisfying!

A big thank you to our Head Baker Alexys and Katie, OTR/L, Director of Diabetes Management & Amputee Programs, for leading an educational and hands-on experience that supports both wellness and independence.

In 2018, Amy’s life changed when serious health challenges began, including Stage 4 stomach cancer and osteoporosis.

Over the years, she has faced obstacles that would have caused many to give up. Instead, Amy has continued moving forward with remarkable strength, determination, and resilience.
