📣 Employee Spotlight: Terry Crowell, Maintenance and Housekeeping Director 📣
We’re honored to recognize Terry Crowell for an incredible 25 years of dedication, leadership, and service to our residents, families, and team. Terry joined Life Care after being referred by a friend, and over the last quarter century, has become an essential part of our community. 🏡
As our Maintenance and Housekeeping Director, Terry is driven by solving new challenges, keeping our building operating efficiently, and, most importantly, making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. One of Terry’s proudest accomplishments was overseeing the construction of our resident pavilion—a place where residents can relax, enjoy fresh air, spend time with family, and participate in activities. Seeing the smiles and memories created there reminds him why his work matters every day. 😊
Beyond maintaining our building, Terry is passionate about helping people. Whether installing a simple grab bar that gives a resident greater independence or listening to the stories and memories residents share, he believes even the smallest acts of service can have a lasting impact. As a leader, Terry believes in leading by example, treating everyone with respect, communicating openly, and supporting others so they can succeed. He encourages future leaders to listen more than they speak, learn from their team, and never forget that leadership is about helping others grow. His coworkers describe him as dependable, approachable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. 🌟
Terry says the relationships he’s built over the years have become like a second family, and that’s what has made 25 years so meaningful. Terry’s words to live by: "Great care happens when a dedicated team works together with compassion and respect." 🤝
