When I first started chiropractic school, I had this picture in my head of what I wanted practice to look like.

I didn’t dream of rushing from patient to patient or only seeing people when they were in crisis.

I dreamed of a bustling family practice.

The kind where I get to care for mom throughout pregnancy, help baby get off to the best start possible, adjust dad after a long week at work, and support older siblings as they grow.

The kind where I know your names, celebrate your wins, watch your families grow, and get to be a small part of your story.

Because at the end of the day, what I love most isn’t just helping people feel better. It’s helping entire families function at their best through a healthier, more resilient nervous system.

And lately, I’ve found myself looking around the office and realizing... this is it.

This is the dream I hoped for years ago.

To every family who trusts me with your care, thank you. It is an absolute privilege to serve you, and I never take that trust for granted.

It honestly breaks my heart when a mom gives up breastfeeding because it’s painful.

Not because she failed.

Not because she didn’t try hard enough.

But because so many moms are told that pain, ni**le damage, and struggling through every feeding is just part of the process.

The reality is that breastfeeding shouldn’t hurt.

One of the things I look at when caring for babies is the balance and mobility of the cranial bones. During pregnancy and birth, a tremendous amount of pressure is placed on a baby’s head. Sometimes that pressure can create tension patterns that affect the shape and function of the palate, jaw, tongue, and surrounding muscles.

Why does that matter?

Because the palate is the “roof” of the mouth and plays a huge role in how a baby latches. A palate that is high, narrow, or unable to move and develop optimally can make it difficult for baby to create a deep, effective latch. This can contribute to painful nursing, clicking, poor milk transfer, excessive gas, reflux-like symptoms, prolonged feeding sessions, and a frustrated baby who seems uncomfortable after feeds.

Gentle cranial chiropractic care focuses on restoring balance within the nervous system and supporting normal motion of the cranial bones and surrounding tissues. By helping reduce tension and improve overall function, many babies are able to latch more effectively and feed more comfortably.

The care I provide is incredibly gentle. No more pressure than you would use to check the ripeness of an avocado. Just light, specific adjustments designed to support your baby’s developing nervous system and body.

Because breastfeeding is challenging enough without unnecessary tension getting in the way.

If feeding feels harder than it should, know that you and your baby deserve support.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Somewhere along the way, we’ve accepted that pregnancy is supposed to be miserable.

That poor sleep, nausea, heartburn, back pain, pelvic pain, headaches, and exhaustion are just part of the deal.

And while some symptoms can be common, that doesn’t mean they’re normal or that you should simply suffer through them for 40 weeks.

Your body is doing one of the most incredible things it will ever do. It deserves support.

One of my favorite things about caring for pregnant women is watching them go from feeling like they’re just surviving their pregnancy to actually enjoying it again.

Through gentle chiropractic care, we help improve nervous system function, reduce tension patterns throughout the body, improve pelvic balance, and support your body’s ability to adapt to the constant changes of pregnancy.

You don’t have to wait until you’re miserable to get help.

Pregnancy may come with challenges, but it doesn’t have to be 9 months of discomfort. 🤍

Most people think chiropractic care is about neck pain and back pain.

But what if it’s actually about helping your body function the way it was designed to?

Your nervous system controls everything. Your sleep. Your energy. Your stress response. Your digestion. Your ability to adapt to the demands of daily life.

When the nervous system is overwhelmed, the effects can show up in ways that seem completely unrelated:
• Poor sleep
• Frequent headaches
• Increased tension and pain
• Feeling anxious or on edge
• Constant fatigue
• Difficulty handling stress

By supporting the nervous system and improving communication between the brain and body, we help create an environment where healing and regulation can happen.

That’s why so many patients tell me they’re sleeping better, feeling calmer, experiencing less pain, and finding it easier to keep up with the people and activities they love.

Fifteen minutes a week. Small investment. Big impact.

If you’ve been feeling like your body isn’t keeping up with life lately, I’d love to help. 🤍
