Residents recently spent time with horses, rabbits, goats and the ever-popular chickens. Visits like these bring plenty of smiles and give residents a chance to connect with some very special four-legged and feathered friends.

Erica joined the CHCC team in 2018, Josh came aboard in 2025, and somewhere along the way, the two met and fell in love.

What a day for a carnival! 🎪☀️

CHCC residents recently enjoyed our annual resident carnival, complete with games, prizes and plenty of carnival treats, including popcorn, shaved ice, cotton candy and more. It was a fun-filled day with plenty of smiles, laughter and friendly competition! 🎟️🍿

If you're coming to the Northwest Washington Fair on Friday, August 21, make sure to stop by the Whatcom County Dairy Women booth near the fair info booth (grandstand area). CHCC's crew will be back in the booth serving your favorite ice cream treats. 🍦

The stipend CHCC earns for staffing the booth will support expanded hospice services at CHCC.

Taking that step may help prevent repeated trips to the emergency room, reduce the burden on family caregivers and support more stable day-to-day care.

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate 70 years of Christian Health Care Center. From games and vintage cars to great conversations and community spirit, it was a joyful day we'll never forget. ❤️
