Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. Proudly serving Lyndhurst and its neighboring communities since 1929. Peter J. In 1944, when Peter died, his brother, Joseph J. Nazare took over.

Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., was established in 1929 and has been serving Lyndhurst and the surrounding communities for some 85 years. Nazare began providing services to the local community out of his home on Pennsylvania Avenue. As the business grew, he purchased a single family home on the corner of Ridge Road and Fern Avenue. Known as "Bib" to many, Mr. Nazare owned and operated the funeral home

for some 30 years. His oldest son, Joseph M. Nazare, worked in and around the funeral home from age 14, became a Licenced Funeral Director in 1965 and continued in the family line of service with his father until his fathers' death in 1976. Joseph J.'s youngest son, Robert J. Nazare worked alongside his brother until his untimely death in 2000. That same year, Joseph's daughter, Karen received her license and has joined her father in the family business.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and prayers to Father Anthony of Queen of Peace Church as he enters retirement. Father Anthony has comforted countless families in their moments of grief, celebrated life’s blessings, and served with unwavering kindness and dedication. His presence has been a source of strength and peace to so many, including our funeral home staff and the families we are honored to serve.

We pray that retirement brings you comfort, rest, healing, and time surrounded by the love of family, friends, and parishioners.

Thank you Father Anthony. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

With deep gratitude, we thank Fr. Anthony for his years of faithful service, spiritual leadership, compassion, and unwavering devotion to our parish community.

As he enters this new chapter, we ask all parishioners and friends of our community to keep Fr. Anthony in your prayers. May God grant him strength, comfort, peace, and healing in the days ahead.
