Increased homelessness is not due to harm reduction programs existing. There are many factors that have contributed, one of many is the inability for people to access housing.

A minimum wage worker would need to work:
101 hours/week or 2.5 full-time jobs to afford a 1-bedroom apartment at FMR. Or 122 hours/week or 3.1 full-time jobs
to afford a 2-bedroom apartment at FMR.
(FMR - fair market rent)

We were honored this week to be recognized by the Lynn City Council for our service and commitment to the Lynn community.

Please share among your networks! If you are in Lynn on December 21st, 2025 at 4pm please join us for Homeless Person's Memorial Day. The gathering will be at 100 Willow Street, Lynn, MA at 4pm.

Please also consider taking part in the Lynn Continuum of Care Youth Scholarship fundraiser. If you get a meal, drinks or order take-out at Gourmet Garden in Swampscott between the hours of 4pm and 9pm 15% of your check will be donated to the scholarship fund. The scholarship is given to a City of Lynn student experiencing homelessness.
