Happy 100th birthday, Florence! 🥳 🎈🎉🎂

Florence McDonough was born in Lynn on June 5, 1926. She is a graduate from Lynn Classical High School, where she was voted best artist! 👩‍🎨 Florence has lived a busy life — From oil painting, winning floral arrangement awards, playing tennis, and raising a family. After graduation, Florence worked at GE until she got married. She and her late husband Thomas share 6 children together. She also spent 28 years working at Flowers by Sherman in Swampscott. 💐

Thank you to the office of Mayor Jared Nicholson for recognizing Florence's wonderful milestone. 100 years of loving and living, caring and giving, growing and learning. May you enjoy the warmth and admiration all around you as you celebrate this truly impressive milestone, dear Florence. 🩷
