💜 Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, Chelsea’s House remembers every life lost to overdose and stands beside the families and friends who carry that loss every day.

Behind every number is a person—a parent, child, sibling, partner, or friend—who was deeply loved and is greatly missed.

At Chelsea’s House, we remain committed to providing a judgment-free recovery community where more than 250 men and women across 13+ Massachusetts homes can find structure, connection and support.

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to support our open house at 24 Baker Street! We truly appreciate everyone who stopped by, toured the property, and learned more about Chelsea’s House.

We are incredibly proud to have raised the standard to another level—this is what sober living should be: safe, welcoming, supportive, and designed to give individuals the best opportunity to build a strong foundation in recovery.

Today we celebrate Kera and 4 incredible years in recovery! 🎉💜

We are unbelievably proud of Kera and the growth we have witnessed throughout her journey—from working toward visits with her children to learning how to balance work, motherhood, and recovery.

Kera stepped into the role of House Manager at Chelsea’s House and has become a huge part of the success of the women at Orient Ave. Her strength, leadership, and dedication continue to make a difference in the lives of so many women.

Congratulations on four years, Kera! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see what the future holds. Keep shining—you are proof that recovery is possible! 💜✨

Recovery is rooted in “we” rather than “me” here at Chelsea’s House…

Our community was named in honor of Robert “Chelsea Bob” Hinckley, a respected leader and role model who believed in stepping forward when others might step away. He taught that no situation, and no person, should be considered hopeless.

That spirit continues throughout our homes today.

Residents share responsibilities, encourage one another, celebrate progress and work through difficult days together. It is a family-based experience grounded in community, accountability, and compassion.

Because recovery becomes stronger when we support one another.

We were honored to participate in the 5th annual Adopt-a-Pole campaign, remembering those who have tragically lost their lives to overdose. Each name represents a life, a story, a family, and a person who will never be forgotten.

We stand together to raise awareness, honor their memories, and remind others that recovery is possible. 💜

Please help me congratulate Alona on 3 incredible years in recovery! 🎉💜

This one is especially personal to me because I’ve had the privilege of watching her entire journey. From fully committing to her recovery and finding a sponsor, to returning to work, getting her car back on the road, and rebuilding relationships with her family—Alona has done it all.

Watching her grow into the woman she is today has been truly amazing. There is absolutely nothing this girl cannot do when she puts her mind to it. Alona, you are a complete rockstar, and I am so incredibly proud of you!
